Lovely hotel, part of the Marriot chain.Overall a very pleasant stay however...The pool is hired out for infant swimming lessons, which doesn't make it very "relaxing" or appropriate. We purposefully booked her for the pool, sauna and steam room but with screaming infants it wasn't at all relaxing!I thought is have a nice lay in the following morning but this was not to be! Loud drilling and construction noise from some building work happening on the ground outside our room. This meant that the "calm and relaxing" start to my day that I had planned most definitely did not happen.Of course hotels are entitled to sublet their pools and construction work is inevitable in London however, this should all be stated at time of booking. Had we have known about this we would have chosen somewhere else to stay.The only positives from this stay was the comfortable bed (pillows were like cardboard), modern TV (we could easily stream a movie) and the staff who were very polite.

The hotel is conveniently located next to the Excel Center, with everything easily accessible by foot. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped with a desk and iron, perfect for working. It was a bit chilly when I first arrived, but adjusting the temperature solved that quickly. The bedding is exceptionally comfortable, making for a great night’s sleep. Additionally, the subway station is just steps away, which is very convenient. However, the food at the hotel restaurant was a disappointment, particularly the Caesar salad, which didn’t meet expectations at all.

Lovely rooms, good size, well laid out, everything working. Asked for a robe to go to sauna/jacuzzi, didn't come so had to pad downstairs in swimwear to get one, they redeemed themselves a bit as one of the concierge team realised we had no slippers so ran and got us some. The swimming pool was bring used for a baby and toddler group and the sauna/steam room needed 15 mins to warm up, so it wasn't the most hassle free morning ever!! But overall good value on a Friday night, good to visit 02 from.

Beautiful hotel, staff lovely and friendly. Great nights sleep. Only minor thing had to pick up on was the ironing board in room 711 needs replacing as was dangerous to iron on. Apart from that beautiful hotel great location and we will definitely be back.
