Stayed here for a night, a while ago, when I had to go to a concert @ Alexandra Palace. It was somewhat affordable (paid 28 quid for a night) and somewhat close to the venue (20min walk). In terms of service, it is open 24/7 (or at least that's how it was when I did the reservation), so that was a plus, since I arrived there around 1am. The staff was friendly and helped me with whatever info I needed.Another big plus is the positioning, because it's near the Wood Green Station (Picadilly Line) which gets you to (almost) the center of London (Leicester Square) in no time. The rooms were pretty clean and quiet, so no complaint about that. The shower cabins though... they were insanely small - enough to make you feel claustrophobic, and the faucet was not working, so my only option was to take a shower using very warm/hot water that was continuously running (such a water waste), with no option it make it cooler or to turn it off. Pair that with no ventilation, and you get the perfect recipe for mold (which I later observed on the ceiling) - so there's that.Apart from that, I didn't try any food/drinks since it was 1am and the bar was closed, but there were some decent restaurants nearby, so overall it was nice.

If you can get a cheap deal then staying here isn’t a bad idea. The location is great for going to ally pally, walkable but there’s also a bus stop directly outside and also it’s right next to a tube station so easy to find. The hotel itself isn’t great, the room was quite dusty and overall didn’t feel too clean. There were marks up the walls and unused nails just sticking out of one. The floorboards are creaky and the walls are paper thin. In the night someone went into their room next door and it sounded like they had walked into my room. The lock didn’t feel strong enough to actually keep you safe either. Paid just over £90 for a small double room as just me alone but will most likely not be returning as I couldn’t sleep most of the night.

I have eaten here quite a few times and the food is absolutely delicious (a little pricey for the area though). Sadly, I went to Oita yesterday with my mum for a lunch and now I’m suffering from severe food poisoning. The staff are lovely and the food tasted really nice but I’m not sure if the hygiene is entirely the best.

I was only there for morning drinks with a group of friends but this quickly turned into lunch for some of us. The menu was too enticing to ignore. The service was friendly and efficient and the food and drink that were delivered to our comfortable sitting area were excellent.I am super keen to come back to the restaurant for a meal off the back of what I experienced this time around. The space is delightful- airy, with a stylish feel. Also plenty of room for a group of mums with babies and buggies. All in all a great experience - gone for yourself.

The rooms are kind of stylish and cozy, the staff is friendly, and the common are with a cafe is cute. At the same time, there is no even a small hanger for your towels in the room, it is quite dusty, the windows are not soundproof, the showers are quite dirty, and the water is not properly running in the sinks. The elevator was broken so we had to lift all the cases to the third floor. Well, the price is still more less adequate.

Easy to access from underground, in zone 3 of Picadilly line. Some travel time from the central but value for money. Sharing bath rooms & toilets are clean, our room at corner, have large spaces. Under the hotel is a Japanese restaurant, next to the hotel still got more options. There is also a 24hrs convenient shop for snack, drinks or some households. Is a happy stay at Green Room.

Initially booked this hotel thinking I had a bathroom in my room as the photos on Agoda show a bathroom in the bedroom however bathroom is shared. Initially really welcoming staff. Mentioned about the bathroom they said it’s why I got the room cheap however I wouldn’t pay what I did again if I’m honest. Basic rooms and really noisy hotel as situated on the main high street next to the station

We stayed here for a weekend trip to see some West End shows and the accommodation was the easiest part of our trip. The staff were very helpful and attentive, giving us directions and asking us about our stay. There was always someone at the desk at around 11pm-1am to let us in after our shows. Our only trouble was that our shower was draining very slowly, but staff looked into it right away. The bed was very comfy and perfect after a whole day of walking around the city. They are located just across from Wood Green station which is very handy to the Piccadilly line, so you can just get on and you'll be in town in about 20-30 minutes. Lovely staff, great location, affordable rooms. Our only regret is we wished we tried the Otai restaurant, but we hope to come back another time to give it a go! Great place to rest your head at the end of the day if you plan on city-sightseeing or seeing shows all day.

I have stayed here a few times, and each time, I am disappointed. It is not value for money. The shared facilities are not private enough. The ensuite room we stayed in was dingy, and the wooden flooring was chipped, making it dangerous to get a splinter. The furniture is old and you feel the room is not clean. I will not ever stay here again. The Travel Lodge is much better. The only good thing is the restaurant that serves good food, although at times the staff can be rude and flippant in their attitude to provide good customer service. This place could be so much better.
