On the plus side, we didn't have any bug bites after spending a night there, the room on the first floor facing the street was spacious and well-lit. But if you decide to stay there, keep those in mind:* The cigarette SMOKE when people smoke outside is seeping everywhere, at least on the first floor for sure* "Breakfast" is a paper box you take from the fridge in the morning, containing a bottle of water, a yoghurt and some biscuits* The quilt that is usually just for bed decoration is the only blanket you get (but the room was well-heated, so it wasn't cold)* On the first floor, you're right next to reception and will hear all the sounds, as well as the sound and vibration from the underground trains* It's an older building, so the stairs to the floors 2-4 are very steep and narrow and there's obviously no elevator

My partner and I stayed at the St George in Paddington from 26th July to 29th. It was a stay from pure hell. I have taken photos.  …

This hotel is extremely poor and not worth a single penny or a worth in your time. I am going to list the reasons why and also the reasons why that same day I decided to check out early and leave the key at the door- Hygiene - Extremely poor, rooms are crumbling apart and fixed with puttey, hairs still in the grills of the shower and mould everywhere you look. Within the first 3 hours I was bitten by what I assume is bedbugs and that’s when me and my partner decided to pack up and leave.- Room - Room was a mess and got given a thin blanket on the top floor with thin walls and thin windows. It was unhygienic, mouldy and falling apart for the price of £56 it was a rip off and I admit that I didn’t read the reviews beforehand but this was beyond digusting and should be shut down for good. (They have a non refund policy so good luck getting your money back)- Stairs, we had to climb Everest twice to climb those stairs and it was stupid absolutely stupid we were in room 19 and it was at the top floor and honestly it was the hardest job ever and do not recommend if you have suitcases or luggage- Customer service, was very very brief and was very awkward and I would be when you are crammed in a room smaller than a janitorial cupboard.Overall out of 10 I would give this a 0/10 waste of time and money and don’t recommend going to this place like ever only would go for the surrounding area.Note: left 3 hours after booking in and went to a local premier inn for better value though lost out on money, I am satisfied at the premier

Dirty room, visible moldy spots along the room and curtains, dirty bathroom (floor with hair and insects etc.), shower had no pressure, shower curtain was dirty and old, bathroom would get entirely wet after each shower, heater didn't work and bad breakfast as well. They advertise a room with and 2 bathrooms, but the second one was in the hallway. Worst hotel I ever stayed.

Decent hotel at a decent price. Bed, bathroom and shower were clean enough with a tiny bit of mould on the curtain. Good place to lay my head for the night. Bed comfortable and sheets were clean.

Nice hotel I likes the room since it had five beds for my family and they had A bathroom with shower in the room and in the stairs there was bathroom with shower. The breakfast was the same with croissant, orange juice, yogurt, small bread with chocolate and a small cheese. The bed was good maybe two pillows or a bigger pillow but it worked. The room was clean the windows were old but they worked. So the hotel was good but it had a 19th century style. Small stairs but good. It had the underground station maybe 500-600 m and many pubs restaurants and everything you need. Could just feel the underground train maybe 30-45 min apart.

Awful. Very old dirty rooms. No lift and not advised of this when booking. Shower flooded, room smells like sewerage. No water pressure, warm water at best so forget a hot shower!  …

For start, our room was up multiple flights of stairs, and very narrow with old, torn carpet so a trip hazard. When we got to our room, our heating was broken and we were basically in the attic with no heating in minus 3 degrees. The heating was fixed for the second night, but there was no hot water for showers. Even if there was hot water, the shower was unusable due to black mould. No duvets are provided, just thin quilts. The breakfast provided could probably survive a nuclear war. Vacuum packed food with an expiry in years to come other than the yoghurt.Even though it was budget price we were completely ripped off when you consider the service and amenities, I would not recommend whatsoever.

Stayed in this hotel for carnival as it was a convenient spot and close to everything however I really wish I didn't. It was extremely dirty, the place is infested with bed bugs, I got bit down my arm and all down my back. I'm sure the place is infested with mice as me and my friends (who were in different rooms) could hear noises all through the night. My friends were also bitten by bed bugs.Walls are EXTREMELY thin. You can hear absolutely everything that is going on everywhere in the hotel. Wallpaper peeling, holes in the walls. The mugs/cups were sticky with dirt.I know it's 1 star and I couldn't expect much but the bed bugs and mice are just unacceptable. I wish I looked at reviews before I came because I can see I'm not the only one that's experienced this. Super disappointing as I'm paranoid if I've brought any bed bugs back home.

This hotel is very overpriced and I dire need of a proper clean. When I arrived I was given a room key that I was told also opened the front door (meaning all room keys are the same?) …
