I went there with my family to explore London during the late winter. I didn't except anything special at such low cost, but the stay was ok. The room was old, but cleaned regularly. The staff is very nice, always really helpful and eager to help. The entire hotel needs redecoration for sure, but if you expect a room to go and have a sleep there, this is a really good option (even with small children).

I’m going to give this a 5 star rating what I see is a little business trying to strive and survive with hotels dominating London with high prices. We got this place for €97 a night. Which included breakfast and an ensuite bathroom. Cannot argue on that price. The price and location lured me in. We got top floor (no lifts) we are young / fit enough. Anyone with mobility issues may struggle. The bed and room was clean, comfortable and safe — That’s all I wanted. Lamp worked ✔️ (not main light) tv can’t comment as I read - I’m not there to be a home designer or change the place. It is, as it is. The staff are a great bunch of people. Breakfast contained eggs, vegan / vegetarian sausage, and beans 🫘 plenty of toast, plus jams, butters etc. you can help yourself to orange, cereals. It was busy enough (8am) small room. There is also a coffee machine on the ground floor that operates 24/7 all free. All you need to do is press whichever coffee / tea you like and it will dispense a cup and fill. When I first arrived we had no running water and staff explained that there is construction going on (in the other part of the building). They’re trying to update the building. You leave the key with reception staff when leaving however, upon arrival regardless of time / staff - I think it’s best to ask for identification when getting the key back (for absolute safety this is something I’d bring up 🚩). Yes bathrooms are small it’s the way the place is structured 🤦‍♀️ however - This was 15 mins away from most places like Buckingham palace, the phantom of the opera theatre 🎭 (his majesty theatre the reason we stayed). Restaurants, coffee places, and supermarkets all close by. The bus leaves you right at Victoria station 🚉 (coming from stansted airport was perfect). Overall no complaints was happy with everything honestly the place was used to literally put my head on a pillow for a few hours. Done the job 👍🏻 would I stay again? Yes 🙌

WORST NIGHTMARE OF MY LIFE – INFESTED WITH BEDBUGS!!!!!||||If you value your health, your sanity, and your skin, STAY AWAY from this hellhole of a hotel. I’ve had bad experiences before, but nothing – NOTHING – prepared me for this. …

The location is really good and the room remodeled which makes it good. However, it has paper walls that make earplugs a must if you want a good sleep and the breakfast was quite average, being quite generous.

I had seen the reviews before staying here and grew a bit concerned.Check in was easy and pleasant, and we were asked floor we would prefer. We were given Room 4. The stair case was clean. There is a free drink machine which had a great selection of hot drinks, also included soups! I've not seen vending soup for many a year.I had a mint tea which was perfect. The room was clean as was the towels and the bathroom. The celling over the shower could do with a wipe down and the shower head getting cleaned. The shower I had was a perfect temperature and did the job. There's also toiletries and a hairdryer. The bed, upon sitting on it, felt a bit on the firm lumpy side, but I actually slept really well.It was peacefull and we has the window open so it was cool. There is a tv, it has a small screen, but we didn't come and stay to watch telly. We went down for breakfast around 8am.There was one woman on her own who was basically doing everything, and she did a great job.She came out with rounds of toast for everyone and then took our breakfast orders.I was totally overjoyed when she said it would be vegan sausages. I had them with beans and it was all perfect. My husband has fried eggs, which he was happy with. There was also some cereal and some good strong coffee. It's only a short walk from Victoria bus and train station. The street around the corner has coffee shops, supermarkets, and some great takeaways.I would definitely stay again.People need to remember that this was probably built around the Victorian era if not later. There is some wear and tear but it's a lovely building from what we saw. It's clean and basic. It does the job.

The worst hotel i’ve ever stayed on. The room had a hole in the floor in the bathroom. The toilet were so close to the bathroom door that you couldn’t sit on it. The bed had broken springs in it that hurt when you slept on them. The first room was so bad that we had to switch room, which was slightly better. The only good thing was the location.
