The hotel was absolutely spotless, I don’t think I have ever stayed in a cleaner hotel. It was a very cute place to stay, slightly old fashioned which was part of the charm and just a stones throw away from the beach. …

Room was acceptable, location was great. However, the staff made it clear that immediately upon our arrival, we were not welcome. Snide comments and a general attitude of hostility made us feel uncomfortable throughout our stay. It was evident that only a very specific type of guest was welcome here, do not expect to feel welcome if you aren’t posh, regardless of how polite you are.

Enjoyed a very pleasant stay here on our way to deeper Devon.Booked the last room available which was a family room, which overlooked the back, but perfectly fine, spacious and clean. We were on the second floor, be aware this house has stairs no lift.Had a very comfortable stay, great location, very nicely presented house.Breakfast fine.4 different types of cornflakes, orange juice, yoghurt and fruit salad, followed by full English breakfast although you can have eggs benedict or other choices, up to you. There is a communal living room with sofas, which is nice, as not all b and bs have this.Parking immediately opposite but max is 2 hours. Free between 6pm and 9amWe moved the car to the longterm car park 5min walk up the road at the East Cliff Carpark, be aware that max stay is 2 days.We paid for all parking via the RingGo app which made everything easy.Would return, Teignmouth pleasant enough, especially when the sun comes out 😁

Great location close to the seawall & the lullaby of the channel. Owners are exceptionally friendly, the breakfasts are intimate, and the rooms very clean. We went out leaving the room in a disheveled state only to return and find it immaculate, which was embarrassing. I think it was remodeled recently. Everything is within easy walking distance. We were sad to leave.

Tidy rooms, very obliging and hospitable owner/managers, excellent location. No better sleeping than here with an open window, a sea breeze and a chorus of gentle waves.

Perfect location. Hosts very welcoming. Rooms good size (King). Breakfast perfectly cooked and as much or little as you want. Comfy lounge on ground floor for guests. There is free street parking between 1800 to 0859hrs nearby. Otherwise it’s pay the rest of the time. Buses stop 5mins away and train station about 10mins allowing time to get across main road. Definitely one to return too.
