We had an amazing stay at HOF Hut. Siobhan has thought of everything to make this a perfect experience. The Hut itself is extremely comfortable, with all the luxuries you need to enjoy your stay. We enjoyed sitting in the bar in the evening, with its warming ‘fire pit’. The sauna is a real treat but the piece de resistance has to be the gorgeous onsen which Siobhan keeps lovely and hot to provide a really unique experience.Overall it is incredibly relaxing, indulgent and enjoyable. Siobhan is a great host and clearly makes a huge effort to ensure her guests have the best time. We would thoroughly recommend the HOF Hut to anyone.

Absolutely no words will cover just how amazing this place is!Gorgeous setting, absolutely beautiful hut with everything you can think of. Super comfy bed, wonderful utensils and very very cosy. The room was warm and smelt unreal all the way through our visit.The facilities are second to none. An amazing Japanese style hot tub/spa bath, a sauna, outdoor seating area, toasting shed (for marshmallows), bbq area and a gorgeous 'hide' with an honesty bar and bio ethanol fire with cute cosy seats.They have really thought of everything, even down to things like fittings and fixtures.Excellent wifi signal, TV too - we still had to do some work so wifi was hugely appreciated.Super super clean and nothing looked old and tired.Siobhan was amazing. She welcomed us with open arms, showed us round and nothing was too much for her. She even baked us a vegan apple crumble and custard which was to die for! You can tell she loves what she does and is so passionate.Met Tia the dog who was lovely as well as the resident cat, all very welcomed!I honestly can't rate this place enough and cannot wait to come back next year.We came as a couple to escape the busy lives we have and we sure did do that.Thank you so much!

Well what can we say. This was our second visit to the fabulous Hof Hut and to be honest it wasn't long enough. If you like complete peace, Total relaxation, beautiful scenery, cleanliness and superb hosts who's design ideas are to be admired then the Hof Hut is an absolute must. Only a short drive to some fabulous walks/hikes with unbelievable scenery from the Tors or just stay at the hut and relax in the Sauna or relax in the Japanese Onsen or enjoy a sneaky drink in the outdoor bar, whatever you choose you are guaranteed a superb break. We personally cannot wait for our next visit.

It's just like the photographs - really beautiful, scrupulously clean and so tastefully/artfully done. Loved being in the hot Onsen overlooking the greenery; being surrounded by trees and nature it's completely private too. The Hof hut is so well equipped with everything you could possibly need to use and it's warm and comfortable too. We'll definitely be back sometime for another special treat!

An absolute gem, I feel very lucky to have stayed at Little Hof. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly and the accomodation had all that you could wish for! The evenings were cosy in the little cottage and all the finishing touches added that extra luxury.Thank you Siobhan and Tim I look forward to returning in autumn.

Our stay at the Hof Hut was incredible! The hut was very homely and everything we’d need for the weekend was included. There were a lot of little added extras which made the stay great - robe towels, slippers, homemade scones with jam and cream! A lot of love and hard work was clearly put into the Hof Hut, and we’re very grateful we got to experience it!The area is very secluded and private and the views were beautiful. The surrounding areas are lovely, with some great places to walk. The honesty bar was stocked with everything you’d need, which was great. There is also a pub in close proximity which was very cosy (and cheap!)We had the most relaxing stay, making use of the onsen, sauna and very cosy honesty bar/outdoor seating area with a firepit. Siobhan was very accommodating, heating the onsen for us every day!We briefly met Bob the cat and got to play with Tia the dog. She was so friendly, and loved her tennis ball being thrown so she could catch it.Siobhan was incredibly welcoming and friendly and made our stay wonderful. My partner booked the Hof Hut for my birthday and Siobhan kindly made me a felt hedgehog as a gift. Thank you so much!We would definitely highly recommend visiting The Hof Hut. The place is beautiful and the hosts really make it special!

Absolutely amazing break away in the most relaxing setting with exclusive access to fabulous facilities. Siobhan was attentive and friendly and helped make the stay perfect offering additional local knowledge to help us get the best of the local area - spot on directions for some Dartmoor Pony spotting! Would highly recommend and will be returning!

This is such a special find. Tucked away in the beautiful green of Northlew, the hosts have created a complete refuge of calm. The onsen, the sauna, the chill out area, and the cabin itself are completely beautiful and literally optimise hygge. I couldn’t believe how much the host Siobhan had made herself, and the skill and care of in the spaces she’s created. If you’re looking for a place to completely disconnect, to stop and relax, I’d highly recommend here!

Can you unwind in just one night? Well it's possible and we've just done it at HOF Hut!The Hut & all the facilities have been hand-crafted by the owners and it shows- it's personal, quirky, very inventive, creative and unique ♥The Hut is full of creative wooden features everywhere you turn and has everything you need. The Japanese Onsen is bigger than any hot tub I've been in so you can float (even with someone else in there with you) – I didn't want to leave it and all the heating of the water was done for us which was a big plus.Your muscles and mind will thank you for it, as feeling the feeling of peace takes over.There's a well stocked honesty bar and the fire kept us super warm after our dip. They have even built a sauna (super easy to use whenever you want) and toasting shed for toasting marshmallows- it's all really magical and presented in such a way you don’t even notice the rain- it's all under cover so nothing spoils your relaxation.Situated on a hill you can see the weather coming in from Yes Tor on Dartmoor. In every area of the Hut and its fabulous facilities you are surrounded by nature & birds of every kind but yet its still a quick hop to the pub (recommend for decent pub grub and cosy atmosphere).If you are looking for a place to quickly unwind, and with complete privacy, I suggest you look no further than HOF Hut. I certainly didn't want to leave and will definitely be back!

We absolutely loved, loved, loved the Hoff Hut, from the moment we arrived away from quite stressful lives the smell of 'big bertha' as you drive in was wonderful. Siobhan and Tim were perfect hosts, so friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The Hut is very comfortable with beautiful unique touches, the Onsen is amazing - you can float for hours watching the world go by, the view is super with wildlife, trees and the crazy English summer weather to watch. The bar makes you feel very special as it is set up just for two with a fire and marshmallows.The local area is fantastic to explore with short or long walks and the local pub was great - we had a Friday night there and it was really entertaining with wonderful drinks and good company.Overall staying at the Hoof Hut was unforgettable and a very special place. We will be booking again.
