Absolutely fabulous evening was enjoyed at the East Dart. We were welcomed on our arrival and enjoyed our drinks at the bar chatting to locals. The food was well presented and tasted even better. The steak was cooked to perfection… The wine selection was also very good. If you have room, I would highly recommend trying one of the home-made desserts. Karen and her team are doing a fantastic job and deserve this moorland hotel, pub and restaurant to be a success.

We received the warmest of welcomes from Karen on arrival and her jovial personality shone through for the whole of our visit. Our room was not furnished in our style but it's individuality did not stop it being comfortable. …

We stopped off for lunch after walking in Bellever Forest to round off a lovely morning out. This Inn has all the elements necessary for a good English pub - good selection of local ales, 2x wood burning stoves and great food. I enjoyed an A1 ploughman’s with thick cut ham and plenty of cheddar cheese. My wife enjoyed homemade soup with a baguette. We spoke to the chef who clearly knows his business. We plan to visit again to try the Sunday lunch as it sounds really good.

Great place to stop for a break if you’re out for a ride / walk. Food great as always and good range of ales. Really friendly staff and dogs are welcome. For those traveling on motorbikes there is a 10% discount. Accommodation is available but I’ve not used the facility yet.
