Stayed here for 4 nights and had a pleasant experience. All the staff are really friendly and accommodating. The room was large enough and the bed was comfy. The shower had great water pressure and got really hot very quickly. …

Have just returned from a two night stay. There were three couples and each couple had a dog. On arrival you have to drive through a housing estate, which puts doubts into your mind about the hotel. Fortunately the hotel was fine. …

A 2night stay through Secret Escapes. Made very welcome when we arrived. The room was good, very comfortable bed and soft pillow when requested. Delicious dinner in bar area as there was a function in the main dining room. …

Strange hotel this. Located at the end of a long road which might have been remote and stunning years ago before you had to drive through a huge housing estate to get to it.It is a quiet place and the beer garden isn't a bad place to hang out.Rooms are quite basic and a little sparse. This place has a good reputation for food and its well earned. The food was amazing along with the service. Even the humble hotel staple of a Burger was probably one of the best I've had. I wouldn't stay here again but I would eat here again without hesitation.

A getaway with my bestie. A really quirky journey/venue. Amazing customer service. Even more amazing menu. We'll be back with our 'others' - they were so jealous when they saw the photos of our scrummy dinner.

We booked the Lordleaze for a dog friendly retreat. Yes the rooms are a little dated but they’re good value, clean and more spacious than others. The service is excellent and food is SUPERB. We ate dinner on site one night and it was so good we ate in the second night too. Highly recommended !

We met up with family for lunch together. The food was amazing, and the whole time we were there, it was so relaxing everything we had was great. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the service was just right. We have all spoken about this away from the restaurant, and all agreed that the quality of the food and taste was spot on. Along with friendly service, we will be going back again soon.Well done to all at this hotel.
