We had an amazing time staying at this charming hotel during our girls' holiday. It truly felt like a home away from home! The place was impeccably clean and stylishly decorated, with a cosy and welcoming vibe throughout. The beds were incredibly comfortable – we all had the best night's sleep.Location-wise, it couldn't have been better. It's just a short stroll from the train station, the seafront and the town centre, with convenience shops nearby for anything we needed. The host totally accommodated us, especially since we had a late check-in. It really made the experience so much smoother.One thing to note is that there's no lift, so getting to the top floor was a bit of a workout, but nothing we couldn’t handle. Overall, a fantastic stay – highly recommend for a relaxing and fun trip!

This review is well overdue. Myself, my Wife & my two young sons stayed in the Rosewood in Torquay in August 2022. Amy & Richard we’re quite superb. The b&b was nothing short of fantastic. So clean & hygienic. We had a family room which was great with plenty of space. The breakfast was hot & really tasty. The location was perfect with just a short walk to the beach. They made our stay an absolute pleasure. We would certainly recommend anyone to stay at the Rosewood. I would certainly give this place 5 stars. Thank you for a great stay. Keep up the good work. We had a fantastic stay for 5 nights as a family of 5. Amy is the most loveliest host ever and she really strives to make you feel welcome. The rooms were clean and spotless and the location is ideal to visit areas like Cockington and Babbacombe. Will be booking again to come back soon as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Fantastic place! Amy is the most welcoming host I have ever meet and I'm relatively well travelled person.Her attention to details starting with the choice of with the table set to furniture and food requirements is second to non.Having an amazing stay with the family. The rooms are spacious and very clean with loads of natural light. The food is lovely and prepared with care and attention. I would well recommend the place to anyone staying in Torquay.

A lovely place. Amy and Richard set a very high standard. They are friendly without being too intrusive. The hotel is spotlessly clean (out of curiosity I did that thing The Hotel Inspector does of running a finger across the top of the doorframe and there was nothing), well decorated and represents fantastic value for money. The English breakfasts are very filling, a particular highlight being the fried mushrooms, I'm not sure what they do to them but they're the best mushrooms I've ever tasted). If I ever come to Torquay again this will definitely be the first B&B I try and book into, I simply can't fault the place. The hotel is also very well situated, being about a 10 minutes walk to the station and beach front and 3 or so to the Riviera International Center.

Richard and Amy are without doubt excellent hosts who make you feel very welcome. Nothing is to much trouble even when asked for an unusual request. The room and house was spotlessly clean and cosy. The breakfast was outstanding, fresh and tasty. All in all a great stay, and value for money. Will definitely be staying here again in the future. Thank you.
