We are well travelled, so feel reasonably experienced to give a review based on our 2 night stay here, August 2024.||The positives. The room was large & relatively cheap at just over £70/night. …

I wasn't expecting much but this hotel blew me away. It is a budget hotel, the rooms are dated but large, clean and comfortable. The staff very friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. …

This is a practical and well located hotel in the beautiful county of Devon. Without question, the staff are the hotel’s best asset, very friendly and helpful. I would go as far as to say they are exceptional.. …

Although the rooms are a little dated, this hotel was very clean and comfortable. My daughter and I spent one night here for a stop over before continuing down to Plymouth. The staff are very friendly, helpful, and courtesy. The room had everything we needed as well as the bathroom. This is definitely a location I would recommend and stay again.

Stayed one night. The price was per room and was good. The hotel is dated and a bit shabby, but the staff are brilliant and friendly. I think there is refurbishment going on. As it is at the moment I wouldn't use for more than a night or two. For a budget it was more than adequate.

Tired and in need of refurbishment! 60's or 70's building and it doesn't look as though it's been decorated or refurbished for decades. Sad. Staff needed training. …

A lovely hotel in Tiverton. We booked in, and when we got to the room both my wife and I were greatly surprised at the size of the room. Honestly, the room wasn't the cleanest (crumbs on the floor, liquid marks (looked like cola) slayed on the wall), but the beds were clean and really comfortable. We had a drink in the bar, slightly expensive, but a good range of beers and wines.Breakfast was the usual buffet style, but no cooked sausages when we arrived, and when more were brought out they were very over- cooked, but all other items are fine. Will happily stay here again.

Not great. Staff are friendly but the place needs a clean, repainted, bedside lamp had no bulb and shower didn't work. Big damp patch in shower. Didn't stay for food. You can also hear other guests at night and pipes. The beds are comfy but had marks etc

A clean and comfortable place to use as a base to explore the area, but it’s in dire need of refurbishment. Very dated decor, furniture and bathroom. Carpet threadbare in places. No double glazing, just dirty secondary glazing. Needs a lot of TLC.
