Not good. This was a last minute booking and the only place in my budget range. The photos on their website look great, they forgot to put a photo of the one I was given. …

Stayed there for one night and would not go back again. It really does need some renovation there was cracks all over the walls and the room was ver cold due to a draft coming in from the window. …

We had a warm welcome to this lovely hotel by the staff.|Rooms are welcoming and very clean although dated. Comfortable beds and great showers. Generous tea, coffee and biscuits in the room.||We ate both evening meal and breakfast. …

Warm greetings on arrival. Decent sized rooms and en suite. Nice and clean although the decor is a bit tired.Decent selection of drinks in the bar and the restaurant has a variety of dishes. I had a very nice bit of Gammon and although not busy the other diners seemed to be enjoying their food. Only downside was breakfast isn't served until 9 and I was on my way well before then!

Its a lovely countryside hotel, bar and restaurant. There are a lot of tripping hazards, from uneven cobbles in the foyer to uneven floors upstairs in the hotel. This is because it's a 16th century coach Inn that has been renovated.  …

A last minute booking, for a surprise, was met and greeted warmly by all staff , highly recommended by me and my partner to pay a visit in the evening, they have a superb Indian restaurant menu we ate like royalty . The rooms are beautiful and super clean and beds extra comfy, this place has wow factor and all the quant elements you would expect from a old coaching inn , parking is on opposite side of the road but plenty of room , Breakfast was absolutely delicious from continental to full English breakfast which was cooked perfectly, I can honestly say I highly recommend you stay here and eat here the staff are just so friendly and helpful, We'll definitely stay again.

We called in here for lunch on our way back to Leeds, from Gt Rissington, a few weeks ago. What a find!Fabulous menu, we waned everything ♥️ 😋.Ended up having a burger each, which we very, very rarely do. The look of the menu gave us confidence that the burgers would be good. We weren't disappointed. We opted for a venison burger and a traditional burgerBoth were absolutely fabulous. We will definitely be stopping here on our annual pilgrimage down next year. Can't recommend this highly enough.Oh...and there's parking outside.

Unfortunately the condition of the hotel does not match the photos on their website. The paintwork is very shabby and the carpets in the walkways are very tired, with flickering lights. …

I had an unplanned and very pleasant visit to this place with my family, we stayed for dinner only. Highly recommended! The food and service was fantastic, all fresh. Jimmy and his team were friendly and professional, it was a great experience. Wishing it was closer to our home - looking forward to our next visit. We might make it an overnight stay next time.
