We held a business meeting for the day, with a few team members staying overnight beforehand. The rooms are modern and clean and the food was amazing with a great selection. Plenty of drinks stations for during the day with great little snack bars. This hotel is one of the nicest I've stayed at for business meetings. Meeting room was well set up with lots of plugs, TV and reliable WIFI.

The room was bitterly cold when we entered, it hit you as colder than the hall. It never got better as the heating never came on. I had the impression that the room was in the middle of a make over, as the wall paint was patchy, there was an industrial sized fan in the corner, and the grout in the floor tiles in the bathroom had been removed partially, making them loose and wobbly. The restaurant wasn't available, so ate in the bar, which was the best part as the food and service was good. So was the breakfast. Not one to recommend, especially at the price.

Have now stayed here three times. Each time the room we have had has been nice and clean. First night bar meal was good. Second night booked restaurant, but had same menu as bar menu? Maybe because it was a bank holiday Monday?  …

We stayed at the Woodland Grange for the NFYFC conference. Marlena and Stacey were amazing and looked after us during our meals. They were extremely friendly and couldn’t help enough. The food was delicious so thank you to the chefs. The reception staff and cleaning staff were also amazing and very helpful and happy to help.

Overnight stay for the Triumph Club event. Good size rooms, comfy bed. Breakfast was great, all the usual choices, from croissants to full English breakfast. Hotel is mainly for conferences so as it was the weekend there wasn't anywhere to get some lunch. Plenty of seating areas with coffee stations. A couple of vending machines for getting a drink or a snack when the bar is closed and coffee won't do. Nice grounds with some seating areas. Large car park with disabled spaces by reception. The event dinner was very nice, service was quick and efficient and the food was lovely. Staff were very helpful. A lovely stay.

Nice clean rooms, buffet evening meal was really good and variety of food on offer. Not a bad place to stay. Can't comment on cost as it was paid for by work.

A little on the small size for a KING room, on the top floor under the eaves. Booked months in advance so expected a decent room with plenty of head room. Slippery floor to the bath with shower over and we had to be very cautious while using the shower - must have been cleaned with a product that leaves a slippery residue when re-wetted. Toilet paper a joke, too thin and very small - when will hoteliers realise that guests use more toilet paper when sub-standard paper is provided and thus more money spent!Staff were lovely, well trained and respectful.Food good but overpriced for what it was. Probably won't book again but use the Premiere Inn just down the road. Just as handy and better priced with comfortable rooms.
