What was probably a largish house made into a hotel and squeezing too many beds into small rooms. It was more like a B&B. I was only there for one night so wasn’t too bothered as long as I got a clean bed and clean bathroom. …

Cant complain too much for the price. Especially in Edinburgh.Rooms are pretty standard, quite an old building so you can hear through the walls a bit.But the staff are so nice and accomodating and you can tell they work hard.

I texted and asked for the best way to get from the airport to the hotel, and was told to take the 100 bus, and the hotel was 300 feet from the bus stop. IT WAS NOT 300 feet. We dragged two 50-pound suitcases and backpacks nearly a half-mile to the hotel. My wife fell in the parking lot, and the proprietor didn't speak enough English to understand what we were telling him. It took several tries to just get some ice for her head. The room was ridiculously small, mold in the shower, and overall just not very nice. Certainly not worth what we paid. We didn't eat breakfast because we just wanted to leave! I only gave it one star because zero stars is not an option!

Horrible, disgusting place! The pictures they show are probably very old as it certainly doesn't look like that in real life. The 'hotel' is run down, everything is dirty and broken. It looks like it has not been cleaned in months/years!The shared bathrooms came with dirt and mould. We did not stay there, we left and booked a different hotel for the night.I have attached pictures

This might have been a halfway decent cheap hotel in the past, now it just feels like an old, run down, cheap hostel. We had a “family room” which was so tiny we hardly could place three suitcases on the ground. …

This hotel was in a good location with the bus right outside.Breakfast adequate.Clean.Our room..room 10 was terrible. Clearly the single room with a double squashed in. Could not walk down either side of the bed. There's even a picture of our room on the website with a single bed in it .

A very unpleasent expirience. Hotel is dirty and everything in it is worn and in need of replacement. Room without minimum furniture, no cupboard at all. Electrical wiring is a death-trap.|Breakfast is a hoax. …

More of a b&b than hotel. Very run down and dated. Our shower was full of mould, didn't work and so small, so didn't bother having a shower.Tiny tv on the wall.Very disappointed as we've had so much better for same price. Wouldn't recommend at all.The vomiting mentioned in another review was happening while we were there, it was actually hot water pipes, but sounds terrible.

Lovely man runs hotel very quirky chap above and beyond. Nice style I like. Family vibe. Could hear children crying and msn throwing up loudly all through night from next door though. Nice breakfast and a funny family who run it. More of a b&b than hotel. No lights or TV worked. Shower was tiny. Clean however.

Mattresses needed replacing...... The best thing was the location right on a bus route. Reminds me of a London drug den not happy at all
