This was a lovely hotel that we stopped at as part of the NC500 route. All the staff were lovely and so welcoming and friendly. Our room was super cosy, clean and a large ensuite.  …

Recently visited this hotel. I was passing and decided to pop in and have something to eat. I was travelling with my dog and we were immediately welcomed and given a table in the bar area. The lovely guy behind the bar looked after me like a king and even spent time taking to my dog after bringing her water (nice touch !) Never been before. But wish it wasn't an 8 and a half hour drive from my house as I'd go often. Stunning place, amazing food and the best service you will receive anywhere. Well done all of you responsible. If you are a potential visitor. Get yourself there.

Beautiful hotel and wonderful food. The area is stunning and we walked up to the castle before dinner after a long drive… a bath in the window … after the rain products… staff great! Would definitely recommend.

Booked this hotel on my NC500 route. From the welcome at reception to the exceptional food which was out of this world it was very very good. The lamb was another level and the dining room was well run. Quality rooms and staff make this a great option.

VERY disappointing for the price - £283 for one night is extortionate. We expected luxury and got anything but. …

The bed was smaller than expected and the en-suite was tiny. We were given a ground floor room (room 15) next to the bar, which was noisy. However, the restaurant was excellent for both dinner and breakfast|Given this was the most expensive hotel on our tour of Scotland we were quite disappointed

Very nice hotel, great decor, cosy bar, beautiful restaurants, the rooms were very cute, but the bathroom was a bit of a disappointment. We couldn't open the window, the water pressure was non-existent and there was always a loud humming sound coming from the loo. Nevertheless, a great experience and a great location.
