Before anything, the workers here are absolutely lovely. We booked in and went to our room where we were greeted with hair on the bed, lots off weird marks all over the bed, stains all over the carpet, what looked like mold on the wall. Of course we complained which we then got moved to a different room which was slightly better but still what I can only describe as male....excretions on one off the pillows. The carpets and walls were still disgusting but as said it was an improvement. As we were going somewhere the next day close by we didn't leave but would have liked to. I payed £188 for 2 nights expecting at least some cleanliness. I did not get my moneys worth and am utterly disappointment. If this was cheaper it would be understandable but nearly £200 quid for an incredibly dirty hotel is beyond disgusting. I would not recommend at all. I believe a partial refund should be in place

I am ex employee, STILL WONT LET ME RAISE A COMPLAINT!Have been left with no further option but to take further action against the company. This hotel treat their staff like garbage. Don’t deal with poor treatment when the issue is raised. Didn't give me adequate training before starting shift. This resulted in me twisting my ankle and having to leave. Hotel are illegally not reporting my injury and not dealing with this the manager in question lies and is quite corrupt.Have seen housekeeping staff wiping toilets then wiping glasses with the same cloth. Hotel doesn’t care though. Nice to see that there is customers now complaining of the cleanliness. Maybe the hotel should have listened of me when I complained!

We recently stayed at this hotel for three nights as part of a tour, and unfortunately, the experience was far from pleasant. The property feels extremely old, with an outdated interior that hasn't aged well. The rooms were particularly disappointing; they were not only cramped but also dirty, leaving us feeling uncomfortable throughout our stay. Walking on the carpet was particularly unpleasant, as it felt unclean. The room layout was poorly designed, especially with the second bed in use. It was so cramped that it was difficult to move around, let alone access the bathroom. Speaking of the bathroom, it was incredibly small and poorly maintained, making it a frustrating experience to use. The bed was equally unimpressive, lacking comfort and adding to our overall dissatisfaction.Overall, there's little to recommend about this hotel. The combination of outdated facilities, cramped and dirty rooms, and uncomfortable beds made for a disappointing stay. We would not choose to stay here again or tour with this company.

Too hot / stuffy. The hotel overall was quite good but the room was so hot and stuffy we hardly slept which is why I'm giving 2 stars. There was no a/c or fan and the windows only opened a tiny bit. If you leave the curtains open it cooled a bit but then you couldn't sleep for all the lights outside. I wouldn't stay here again simply because of the heat / lack of fresh air / poor sleep. The breakfast was very good but was busy and people struggled to get a table.

A well situated, clean and relaxed hotel. Great staff - all very friendly, smiley and helpful. The facilities e.g. large restaurant and well stocked bar were just what we needed after a long journey The burger and chips definitely the spot as well. Well done all.

First class customer service from Laura who was on the night shift, she was really helpful, courteous, friendly and professional with registering our hire van after travelling from Gloucester earlier in the day and were on our way home, tired and needing some rest. Too often people can't be bothered and are under par in carrying out their job and customer interaction/service. So thank you Laura, very much

We stayed in this hotel between house moves and the staff could honestly not have been nicer. They went out of their way to make sure that we were happy, comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. …

Handy hotel for access to Glasgow and the motorway.Rooms were of a good standard although nothing to shout about. Bathroom could have been better in terms of cleanliness but nothing too concerning.Would stay again.

This is not friendly hotel, manager Alex, not helps customers who are coming from abroad. And this hotel not accept “cash” ,bank transfers and international bank payment. So if you are not the UK resident don’t go there please. Also Alex is a very mean man, he complained international customers, he looked for trouble with the customers. he said he is manager in 20th September 2024, hopefully he is not liar. Because when I asked his second name, he said he can’t say it, I know he knows he did wrong things and bad attitude l. Hopefully he can take a job in here in the future .
