The burger here was great. It was really fresh and tasty, cooked to perfection. Same with the onion rings and chips, really crispy and well done. Overall a really nice meal. The restaurant itself has a really nice interior. It was quiet when I was there but I think that it would have a great atmosphere if it was a bit busier. It's in a great location to fuel up before or after a day out visiting the local historical sights. Will definitely be stopping in here any time I pass by.

Really nice hotel+pub (or is it pub+hotel?). Staff are very friendly and the pub was excellent. The hotel is a recently built structure of twenty odd rooms laid out in two floors, the lower one opening directly onto the ground and the upper floor accessed via stairs and a balcony. This makes it feel more like a holiday home than a hotel. The room was nice, modern, large enough and with a nice bathroom attached. Only stayed there one night, but thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

Popped in on a Sunday lunchtime 22/09/24, really genuine warm welcome, offered table and the manager explained that food/drink ordered and paid for at bar. Food (Sunday roast) can't be faulted, generous portions plus good value for money. Positioned on junction of A1 and road to Lindisfarne. Would recommend without hesitation. Brilliant Staff really do make the difference. 6*

We visited Lindisfarne Inn on Sunday 20 Oct. Weather was cold and bleak but we found a very warm and hospitable reception on arrival. Mikey and Harley were attentive and provided some great suggestions on what to do in the area. …

We went to Lindisfarne Inn for a meal on our wedding anniversary tonight and, simply put…WOW! The food was some of the best I’ve ever tasted (I had steak my husband had the burger) and it was phenomenal! The two ladies that were working were also amazing, they didn’t stop smiling once and they were wonderful. If we didn’t live 3 hours away, I’d be back every night for that steak 🤤

Despite reading some of the reviews of people's experiences of the food, we decided to risk it! I wish we hadn't. The burger, scampi and "safety net" onion rings were fine. However, the hand cut "re -heated chips were inedible. The waitress, who to her credit offered us some more, was extremely pleasant. Unfortunately the chips weren't much better. It defies logic how it's possible to cook or ruin "hand cut" chips. We also had to order at the bar and pay upfront at the bar. I wonder if this practice has been introduced because many customers have done a runner when confronted by their "hand cut" offerings.

We visited for a roast this afternoon. The staff were very friendly and accommodating but we couldn't get over the poor quality of the roast. Between 4 of us we ordered 2 pork dinners, a turkey and beef. All the meat seemed like it was packaged. Like the stuff you would buy for a sandwich filler or to top up your dog's food bowl. It was very low quality and definitely hadn't been cooked on the day. It's a lovely establishment with nice staff but the roast is like wetherspoons on a bad day.

We sat in the garden because we had our dog with us. It's the first pub you get to after visiting Lindisfarne so the adjacent junction is very busy when the tide is due to come in. I didn't go inside but I assume it's wheelchair accessible inside but you would have to leave the carpark and go up the pavement to enter it from the front. The food was nice with some of the usual pub fare and some different dishes too. We didn't stay so I can't comment on the rooms etc.
