I spent 5 days at Ramnee hotel whilst attending a Wellness Retreat nearby. The service was of high standard indeed. Staff were helpful and efficient. The proprietor of the hotel was very welcoming and went out of his way to make my stay comfortable. I will be going back to stay at Ramnee Hotel as long as I visit that part of the country. I liked the view of the North Sea bay from my room. Nothing beats the fresh sea breeze every morning and the tranquility of being out there in the open. The dining experience gives a homely feel. Loved the whole experience.

A lovely property in Forres with a lot of character. There is a great bar off the lobby with a nice selection of whiskies. Stuart and his team could not have been more accommodating.  …

I’ve been here several times and it’s my “go to” in this part of Morayshire. A classic and historic hotel with friendly staff, spacious rooms and comfy beds. The food is great and the set-up and portions for breakfast are fantastic. Highly recommended!

Stayed there on a business trip. I picked this hotel as I stayed there in the 90s and remembered it was a lovely hotel then. When I walked in it was like stepping back in time, it looked exactly the same. …

Stayed at the ramnee a few months ago, food was OK. Beds were comfy and felt really peaceful and safe at night. A young boy served us in the restaurant and was an absolute delight! …

We spent a truly delightful long weekend here and could hardly drag ourselves away. Stuart is a most charming host and rather a good authority on single malts! We will definitely be back, possibly for Christmas. …

The staff here were extremely helpful and friendly, but our room was small and could do with an upgrade e.g. get rid of the shower curtain and there was paper peeling off the walls The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. …

Very friendly staff. Reasonably costed menu although limited. Room spotlessly clean with a comfortable double bed and a great view out towards Findhorn Bay. New carpets throughout with a stunning staircase. Unfortunately no lift available. Plenty of parking space to front of hotel. Highly recommended
