We stay for my birthday as I was doing a driving experience on the adjacent airfield and from the moment we arrived we couldn’t have been treated better. Room’s clean with shampoos and soaps provided along with the towels. Nothing too much bother. Thank you

We flew our light aircraft into Kirkbride to sample the Wednesday lunch at The White Heather. It proved to be excellent value for money and thoroughly enjoyable. If you're planning on visiting go hungry and don't expect to eat for a week afterwards!

Food-Amazing value for money. Very large amount of simple, homemade food. Delicious and wide range of desserts. Fast service. Not a fancy place or somewhere with a diverse menu but def my favourite place to eat due to the quality and value for money.Wednesdays particularly good

Recently stayed here the night before my sisters wedding day. Dave & staff could not have been more accommodating for us! The rooms were lovely and very spacious for the amount of stuff we had brought for the morning of the wedding. My sister had a wedding party of about 15 of us so Dave even let us have full use of the restaurant on the morning to allow us for hair and make up which couldn't of been more amazing. Breakfast in the morning was lovely and they all made us feel so welcome! Would 10/10 recommend!

My recent experience at the White Heather Hotel was far from satisfactory, leaving me with a sense of disappointment and frustration. From the onset, the stay failed to meet even the most basic expectations one would have for a hotel of this caliber. The issues began at check-in, where a lack of organization and attentiveness from the front desk staff resulted in a prolonged and frustrating process. The staff's apparent disinterest in addressing guest concerns set the tone for a less-than-welcoming stay.Upon entering my room, any hopes for a comfortable stay were quickly dashed. The accommodations were outdated, and the cleanliness left much to be desired. Stains on the carpet, dated furnishings, and a noticeable lack of attention to detail suggested a disregard for maintaining a standard of quality. The dining experience at the hotel was equally disappointing. The limited menu options seemed uninspired, and the quality of the food did not justify the steep prices. Additionally, the service in the restaurant lacked efficiency, with long waiting times and a general sense of disorganization. One of the most frustrating aspects of my stay was the lack of response to reported issues. Attempts to bring concerns to the attention of the hotel management were met with indifference, further highlighting a disregard for guest satisfaction. It became apparent that customer feedback was not a priority for the White Heather Hotel. In conclusion, my stay at the White Heather Hotel was marred by a series of disappointments, from check-in to check-out. The lack of attention to detail, outdated facilities, and unresponsive management make it challenging to recommend this hotel to others. For those seeking a comfortable and welcoming stay, it would be wise to explore alternative accommodation options in the area.

Beautifully situated hotel overlooking the airfields and surrounding countryside. Ample parking and very spacious inside. The restaurant is very well presented and pleasant. Plenty of tables and a great menu. We enjoyed a lovely roast dinner which was very tasty and well portioned. The sweet trolley was to die for, great choices and a perfect finish to the meal. Most of all the staff were very welcoming, friendly and attentive. We look forward to our next visit and can definitely recommend.
