While the location of this place is convenient enough though not in the Centre, I cannot recommend staying here due to several serious concerns. …

Avoid! We did not enjoy and felt uncomfortable during our stay. Bad experience started prior to arrival. The host phoned me, but we all know signals in Highlands is not great, so I did not receive the call. She then left a voice message, saying she needed to send me some terms and conditions, and if I don’t call back she will CANCEL MY STAY! She could have just email me without making a fuss! There’s also multiple ridiculous house rules.1. No food allowed inside or outside the house strictly. Dining out is very expensive in highlands and restaurants are scarce. Takeaways are handy but you can’t have it there. We were warned to be charged if we eat on the premises.2. No plastic. You cannot leave any plastic bottles or any plastic trash for them to recycle. Car trash is also not permitted. There’s a bin in the room but it’s basically for nothing.3. Check in is strictly before 7pm which is really inconvenient when you are travelling.4. The house calls itself a B&B but they don’t serve breakfast. The list goes on but these are the main thing I found quite inconvenient.Main thing is the attitude of the host. Very demeaning, unfriendly and unwelcoming. DO NOT recommend to anyone who wants a happy time in Scotland.

"What's your name". Is how we were greeted when some lady opened the door! There are lots of bad reviews regarding her. We can't all be wrong? ||We too received an email with do's and dont's. …

Got to say. The one star reviews I’m reading here seem entirely believable. Hostess has some sass. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for kind or accomodating service. All and all, the rooms were clean, not cozy or charming at all, but fine enough. Stayed for one night and moved on. Had no idea how to get breakfast as nothing was explained.

Had a lovely stay, our host was really nice, welcoming, and kept us well informed on check-in procedures and gave us great advice on dining options and hiking tips. Our room was in the annex building, which was really clean, quiet, well equipped with a giant bed, really good shower, small fridge, kettle, hair dryer and a nespresso machine.Would recommend this place to anyone looking to explore the Loch Ness area.

Absolutely do not stay here. The owner exhibited the most foul behavior I have ever experienced in a hospitality setting. Extremely unprofessional, mocking the guests in my party, so rude. Any of the other elements of the stay were completely overshadowed by how incredibly uncomfortable we were made to feel.To give more context, we were late to check in after a FULL day of travel. Our GPS did not find the address as listed and so we called to get details from the owner, who had informed us that there was a strict checkin time, we were reminded of the time, and the correspondences contained all the information we needed to find the B&B. I (coming from out of the country) had my phone on airplane mode and did not receive the messaged from her until I was able to connect to wifi (messages were sent at 11a and again at 6p THAT DAY and also did not contain the address of the property). The reception we got upon arrival was horrible and demeaning. No stars, awful experience
