All the staff were really friendly and helpful. Beds are huge and incredibly soft. Room was lovely and clean. Chelsea made a beautiful job of making it feel warm and welcoming when we returned from our adventures. …

Stayed here for 1 night during our travels. We had forgotten our swimming costumes but the hotel hat a shopping facility in the leisure centre so we were happy. Lovely peaceful surroundings. Many dining options. Great view from our hotel room. Easy parking, we would recommend this hotel.

The exterior of this hotel is really cool, and its well located. The staff we encountered were also nice. But I don't know in what world this is a 4 star hotel. The rooms are extremely dated and in dire need of updating. We were on a tour of Scotland and stayed in several hotels and this was by far the worst. The bed felt more than a decade old, the pillows also felt very old and lumpy. The walls were paper thin and we could hear neighbors tvs and snoring. We were thankfully only here for one night, and got little sleep that night. The bathroom felt gross enough that I was unwilling to shower while there, as there was visible mold. This place has potential, but until they put some updates into it definitely stay somewhere else.

The Stirling Highlands Hotel is located perfectly in Old Town and near sights. The staff were sweet and rooms clean. I personally loved the history of the hotel…an old high school! My husband and I realized we did try out the Headmaster’s Study Bar. Something we regret.

The Stirling Highland Hotel was a lovely, old world-looking, stone hotel. Had the look of a castle; very attractive visually. It was right on the street direct to Stirling Caste. …

Hotel location 5* booking in process very slow queued for 20 plus minutes. Breakfast was chaotic, noisy running out of everything, what you had managed to put on your plate was cold when the eggs arrived. Bacon like cardboard. …

What a disappointment. All the ingredients for a great stay. Unfortunately the hotel failed to deliver. | Four of us in two rooms, both of which can only be described as tired, however, the bed was clean and comfortable. …

Brilliant location. Room not great. Lovely corner windows covered in rot and mould. Wardrobe doors that fell on us. Room obviously not hoovered / cleaned correctly as previous occupier leftover shopping bags behind chairs in Room. Bathroom a total disgrace with sticking out rusty nails in shower and orange mould all over bath tiles.Restaurant should be shut down. Out of 9 dishes over 2 nights they burnt (incinerated) 2 of them, and got 3 wrong. Would not recommend to anyone
