We stayed in the Beatles Chalet at the top of the hill with a really nice view onto the loch, when we arrived we had a lovely cheeseboard waiting for us in our room and a bottle of wine (we had booked a stay that allocated this), and it was …

The hotel overlooks Loch Earn so has wonderful views across the lake to the mountains and hills. If you are in a lake-facing room note that windows are single-glazing so any strong wind is noisy and even in June, the heating was on. …

When I booked in the receptionist told me I still had to pay. I said this wasn't right. She insisted as I'd booked through expedia. She looked at the book and saw I was right. I paid extra for a superior lake view double or twin room. …

Booked this because of the view. I have to say that was really the only good bit. Food was pretty rubbish and way too expensive for what it was. …

We had a very much enjoyed break here midway through our motorhoming holiday. The view from our room was absolutely beautiful. Great location for exploring Glencoe. Comfy bed, great to have a fridge in the room. Only let down was when we booked we were told there would be a full Scottish breakfast but it was a continental which was nice but not what we were expecting.
