Excellent Hotel & Staff. Caris, Hanna & Brodie were professional & fun. Excellent dining & whisky bar. Glenrothes innthe middle of Speyside. Lots of distilleries. Stayed in the Glenrothes Suite. Very accommodating, great bath room. Would stay again and suggest to anyone. Nice job, Station!

As usual I was working away and we chose the Station Hotel, despite its price bracket as there were not (as far as I could find) any other suitable hotels in the immediate area.  …

This was our first hotel on our trip to Scotland. It had the old charm but well renovated. Amenities were luxurious and convenient. The mattress was a tad springy. The welcome dram of whiskey was thoughtful. The house made shortbread in the room was delicious. We were on the third floor and couldn't really get wifi. The rooms are heated by radiators as old buildings are. The room was cold when we came in, but did heat up. The other room my family was staying in didn't get very warm. The complimentary breakfast is amazing. The croissant is fresh and buttery. The marmalade is homemade and I'm extremely disappointed that the chef doesn't sell them!

Toots Cafe (inside the hotel) is a cute little spot for lunch on our way to a distillery tour. We had an assortment of dishes and all of them were good. The service was prompt and efficient - shoutout to our server who appears to be making drinks, waiting tables, running food and also working the front desk of the restaurant! We’d never have known she was doing so much based on the service provided. The hotel has an outstanding whisky collection in the lounge area. There was only 1 other table occupied while we were there so, while we made a reservation in advance, it likely wasn’t necessary.

We booked for a week but only stayed 3 nights, the room was noisy with traffic, it was so hot we had to have the window open but impossible to sleep. The shower was either red hot or freezing cold, 6 coat hangers for a weeks stay, forgot to clean our room, lift didn’t work, no lager for 2 nights, no orange juice for breakfast, just an empty jug, no jams or marmalade on the tables. . No WiFi.Definitely would not recommend.

Location in a good visible place,,,ample parking. Staff very respectful, curious and helpful.. I don't really know about food as I am a non animal eater, food was limited, the meal we did have was ravioli, but we found the meal far too salty. Apart from that. OK

We spent time exploring Speyside and booked ourselves in for an evening into The Station Hotel. It turned out to be a rather splendid decision. The hotel is in the centre of Rothes. …
