Stayed here for two nights on a coach trip. Nice rooms good breakfast self service. Evening meals were ok for the price paid, shortage of vegetables though. |Staff that seemed full time and experienced were very good, few part timers looked a bit lost. Reception staff really good and helpful.

It's a good local hotel. It is located very convenient for travellers. It is close to Edinburgh and highways and very close to Edinburgh Airport. I used it for a short stay and will gladly use it again when I am in this area or passing Livingston. The room was spotless. The reception works 24 hours a day, and parking is spacious.

Hotel was outdated. Smelt like nursing home and had no services such as a gym or pool. Technology was outdated and floor boards creaked in the rooms. Bathroom was very outdated along with the rooms. …

So glad to see this hotel back up and running to its former glory. Every single member of staff couldn't do enough to help my husband and I - even during the jight when we just wanted a drink. …

My wife and myself came here for a couple of nights break and were pleasantly impressed, the room we got was clean, freshly done up and had a huge comfy bed.We had breakfast both mornings and a meal on the first night. The food was good and as part of the deal we got it was great value for money and enough to choose from. Also the staff were amazing and made our stay very pleasant and were happy to help with any of our needs and chat with us.We will definitely be back to stay here again and glad to see that it is getting back to it's old self.

Whilst the hotel room was slightly dated, it was immaculately clean and very comfortable. What sets this hotel apart was the absolutely exceptional service we received from every member of staff we dealt with. Receptionists, restaurant staff and Chris the chef all went out of their way to help us and accommodate our requests, and were all very friendly while doing so.

Absolutely amazing time at this hotel the staff have been fantastic starting with a truly happy receptionist called Rebecca who was both informative and delightful. After a fantastic time at the Secret Garden Distillery we were treated to a fantastic meal by Aneesa who looked after us and Gary the beverages manager who made sure we were welcome and had the best experience we could have. I would recommend this place to all
