Stylish hotel with great atmosphere. Staff were very nice and breakfasts were delicious. There’s a bus station to the city right at the hotel and even when you want to go for some hikes you can took the opposite direction which will take you right to the highlands. Even right in front of the hotel there is a park where you can enjoy free air and some greenery. The bar at the hotel is quiet and chill. Also the cat hotelier is a great bonus (he was our guide to the hotel at night).Overall our stay there was great.

Great location to catch buses. The food was nice in the restaurant. Bar area was lovely and nice place to relax after dinner. Rooms need a little care and attention, but otherwise, they have the basics you need. Staff you couldn't fault. Enjoyed our stay

Not our first stay, but the price has reached horrendous levels - even after the main tourist season. …

An old hotel with lots of character, extremely clean and excellent service both at the reception and the bar. The only thing I'd improve would be the continental breakfast selection. Would definitely stay again if in the area as there's a very convenient bus stop right outside which takes you into the city in 25mins.

This hotel was clean, staff friendly and food was very good. I may be wrong but I don't know how a disabled person would cope with getting to rooms. …

Overpriced rooms for substandard beds and facilities! Please avoid! The location of the hotel was good with bus stop right outside, however that’s where the good things stop! This is by far the worst hotel rooms we’ve been to. We woke up the very first night from a bad back, the beds were wobbly and the mattress was super springy! We complained about this to the reception staff, they promised to change the bed and mattress. We came back in the evening only to find that nothing had changed. We spoke to the receptionist and she said she can’t do much about this, the rooms are all booked! We asked them to cancel our booking and refund the money, she said her manager will come in next day and they will talk about it. I didn’t hear anything after! There are no lifts, no telephones in the room. So we had to keep going up and down to speak to their staff about all of this. The showers didn’t have enough water flow.Breakfast was just alright, not really many options for vegetarians! In the end we ended up paying a lot of money for terrible beds and service!
