Beautiful hotel, friendly staff and perfect location. We were staying for a gig at The Classic Grand, and the location was literally a street away from where our gig was. Loads of pubs and restaurants within the immediate vicinity. …

Stayed for one night for the Rangers game. Stunning hotel, lovely furnishings, tea and coffee choices. Modern shower and great wall mounted flat screen tv. Bar is probably the best hotel bar you will find, comfy chairs and chandeliers, and its open until two in the morning for hotel guests. Central Station a skip and a jump away. Top drawer hotel.

The rooms are very small with very little floor space, showers are average, beds are comfy. The decor is fancy but it’s all bells and whistles for a poor lot laid our hotel. The staff were 10/10 though which was the saving grace. All in all you could find a much better hotel for the same price of cheaper. Premier inn would have been a cheaper upgrade. Location is decent.

Stayed here for just one night, and it didn't disappoint. The staff make this hotel super friendly and welcoming. It's ideally placed for Glasgow City centre and the main shopping streets also right next to Glasgow Central Station. …

Great design and location! We were on the 11th floor, which had stunning huge windows overlooking Glasgow central station. The only drawback was the rooms were too hot with no aircon. The bed was massive and super comfortable. Breakfast was as delicious and the bar a lovely spot to people watch.

1 night here, easy to find just down from the station. Relatively central & easy walking.|Easy check in. Neat and clean not a spacious room and no racks for luggage 2people=2 luggage items.|Ensuite ok but towel drying challenging not enough towel rails. No restaurant but apparently they do have a light breakfast bar?

UPDATE: I changed my review from 1 star to 4 because this morning staff moved me to a room on the second floor. It's much cooler and more comfortable than the one I had on the 9th floor. My advice is to request a room as low as possible if you like your room cooler at night.ORIGINAL REVIEW: This Motel One used to be my favorite hotel in Glasgow but this will be my last time staying with them. Unfortunately, management has decided to turn the ability to cool your room off and it is unbearably hot; even now at the end of October. I was given a fan by the front desk and told management turned the cooling system off. The window doesn't open wide enough to help much and it's too hot to sleep. It's not the employees fault so I gave 5 stars for service but I wouldn't recommend you stay here. The last time I stayed here I could regulate the room temperature. I'll be moving to a different hotel tomorrow.
