Was surprised at how nice it was. Very central - clean, comfy room with everything you could need. Staff were very friendly which was nice. Great check in and out times. Breakfast was lovely and served quickly. Only downside was the fish and chip lunch I had while waiting to check in - not great! There are loads of restaurants close by - the tapas one was amazing as was the pizza place.

Popped in this morning for breakfast after swimming with my daughter. We shared a tasty full Scottish breakfast. Everything was cooked well, tasted fresh and with a generous portion. The price was very affordable, staff were attentive and polite. The location was clean and welcoming, probably the best “spoons” I’ve eaten in!

The negatives were few but the biggie was that room no. 12 a twin, had no window.  …

This review is for the breakfast experience only. On business to Dundee, I stopped in at the lovely Broughty Ferry area for an early breakfast to avoid rush hour traffic.Easily parked outside of the venue, lovely cooked breakfast, excellent service from the young lady & as always the free cappuccino refills are brilliant when killing time ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great hotel and great price. We have stayed here a few times and find it great value for money. Some of the rooms only have a skylight which could be claustrophobic, but we were only there for one night so it wasn’t a problem. …

Let me start this review by saying, what a wonderful car parks and valet service! we paid a small boy in the Wetherspoons to park our car and he kindly kept the engine running and the seats warm for us the next day.The rooms fantastic, especially the free bread that was on our pillows as we got in. What a lovely touch! The showers were like an authentic experience of having a shower, deeply deeply, showerful. Our only complaint was that all the pint glasses were made out of wood which gave my 45 year old son a lip splinter that mummy had to remove.I would like to take this moment to really thank all of the lovely staff for being so kind to my son even when he ran behind the bar to try and steal the pickled eggs, barefoot. I will be recommending to all my friends and everyone else I meet. I almost don’t want to recommend because it feels like a lovely lovely little secret for just me

great location in broughty ferry! & the manager was very nicebutfood wasn't the best , you can tell it isn't fresh & probably just heated up in the microwave.the staff werent in a hurry to get the tables cleaned , we had to eat on a dirty one.the lift wasn't working so if you have luggage, the stairs are quite steep so makes it difficult getting to your room.the walls are thin & you hear everything in the rooms next door...this hotel has so much potential to be better....

Matress and pillows were fairly uncomfortable. Room was okay, nice bathroom. There was NEVER anyone at the check in desk and we had to go to the busy bar to get checked in. Location was good. The only free longer stay parking was on the waterfront but this was only a short walk.

Needs some attention from company management. Has all the usual Wetherspoons features, cheap but reasonable quality food, good choice of drinks, plenty of space. …
