Sadly won’t be back. After 4 and half hour journey myself and 3 other adults travelled to meet up with other family members||We checked in and all looking forwarded to a chilled evening before meeting family the next day. …

Staying one night in the area we popped in on Tuesday evening for a meal. So glad we did. Nice warm welcome and really good food.Lovely friendly staff. A big thank you to the nice lady who served our food (sorry we didn’t get her name) for the recommendations of places to visit in the area. We loved Anstruther and Elie which we visited after St Andrews. Will definitely come back for a meal if ever in the area again. Highly recommended.

I just popped in for a couple of beers, prices are good for beer and food, staff were busy but friendly. I met outside workers who were staying there who said rooms are comfortable. For a Thursday evening, the restaurant was very busy which shows that this bar/restaurant is very popular. Beach nearby too.

We ate at the pub - Least friendly service I have ever received. Server practically threw things onto the table and said we can sit anywhere, but when we did told us that we had to clear the table in an hour. While the food was good, it wasn't worth the overall awful experience. Bathrooms were dirty and even though they only open at 12, everything was disorganized (they couldn't even tell us what the specials were for the day). Would not recommend

What can I say, we stumbled upon this pub/restaurant for the first time today and what a fantastic, friendly, characterful place it is. We both eat a "lot" of fish and chips, and the fish and chips we had at the Fisherman's Tavern were exceptional. Probably the best in recent years. All the staff from the kitchen to the bar were brilliant and allergies were catered for very professionally. We'll be back!

We had an excellent bar lunch. Cullen Skink was lovely and had the most fish I've had ever had in a soup that I never made myself.Fisherman's burger with the pork belly was amazing and also huge. My wife's chicken and mushrooms pie was very tasty with a delicious sauce and a real plate full.Dessert, sticky toffee pudding & ice cream was lovely. Blackberry & Elderflower Eton Mess could not have been better. Not too sweet or sour and a great balance of meringue to cream.Excellent food and sevice with the bonus of being great value for money.

What a lovely overnight stay, not our first and certainly not our last. Excellent ambience, super staff and great location. Room was very comfortable, and both evening meal and breakfast were just grand.
