My room had no windows, a prefab bathroom you had to step into. The bed was big but had cheap pillows and bedding. Overall decor is OK but photographer did a great job. Breakfast was over priced.SummaryYou can do much better for rhe price they charge as Manchester is blessed with many hotels in the centre.

Very friendly staff, but the room is not very good. The bathroom is dim and dark. The fittings in the room are industrial rather than comfortable and cosy and one side of the bed is only 15cm from the wall. My wife had to climb over me or the end of the bed to go to the bathroom. Not what you want at these prices. Also, there are no tea or coffee facilities in the room, only a coffee machine near the lift. On our visit there were not enough cups, and the coffee machine doesn't boil the water so you can't make a decent cup of tea.The hallways always looked like they needed a good hoover.

No frills hotel. Rooms are small but clean and fresh. Hey no problems with noise at night over several stays. Communal areas are clean and have a relaxed feel. Vegan breakfast options are the best I've had in a standard hotel breakfast!

I booked this hotel as a treat for my partner and also was something different than what we'd stayed in before. I booked and upgraded our room to a king room with a view over manchester. …

A really nice hotel with quirky rooms. Only downside is the bathroom extractor doesn’t stop and is really loud.Staff seemed friendly and were very helpful on checkin. The coffee machine on each floor is a great touch.I didn’t sample the food or drink in the bar but it looks great.

I liked the room and the hotel in general. The location is spot on, it’s clean and the shower was powerful. The air con was brilliant and the TV/features was excellent. My only criticism was with the bed. The size was huge which I loved but the mattress was so hard that I was in pain. I know that’s personal preference and all the other reviews are people saying the mattress was firm but in a good way. For me, it hurt and prevented me from getting any sleep. We left a day early wasting a night because of it (3 night stay). I wouldn’t stay here again but simply because the mattress otherwise I would recommend

I have stayed here before and it is really well positioned in the centre of the city. Presently a nightmare to get near in a car but the ideal position to wine and dine or sight-see (or even shop). …

Had a lovely time here, celebrating my friend’s 80th birthday. Lovely food and drinks, including gorgeous porn star cocktail. Sooo well looked after by Daisy who was kind, attentive and very professional! Much appreciated Daisy, thank you for making our experience such a good one!

Great rooms, amazing breakfast. Just a heads up if you are visiting from India for the first time, toiletries and bottled water is not provided like most hotels back home. They do provide glasses and there is water provided next to the coffee machine near the lift. No room phones but the tv has a guide built in to show more information. Little to no paper or plastic used here and I completely appreciate it.
