We received a night and dinner at Kinloch Lodge as a surprise wedding gift. Well, you can imagine how thrilled we were to find ourselves in this beautiful boutique hotel right on the loch on The Isle of Skye! …

The location of the hotel is beautiful and the staff were all very friendly. We were in Room 5 and although the room was spacious, the decor, furniture and finishing were quite bland. …

The restaurant at Kinloch Lodge is one of the best meals you can eat on Skye. We went for Sunday lunch & every dish was 10/10. Freshest mussels I’ve ever had. The vegetarian Wellington was unique & absolutely delicious. The side of Yorkshire pudding was such a pleasant surprise! Of course the chocolate tart is also ridiculously tasty. Portion sizes are very generous. Not only is the food fantastic but the setting is gorgeous.

The Lodge is a 17th Century farmhouse/hunting lodge, set in a beautiful location overlooking Loch na Dal. We had a wonderfully warm welcome at the reception and taken to our room. …

We booked up for the lunchtime menu which is a selection of small bites which you choose from the menu. Everything we ordered was exceptional and the service excellent. We even went back a week later as the menu changes daily. We would definitely recommend Kinloch as the place to eat on Skye

After being let down at the final hour by another fine dining establishment on Skye, The Kinloch Lodge pulled out all the stops to make my wife's 50th birthday memorable. …

Went in for lunch while on Skye. Meal was fantastic. Staff were lovely and attentive. Isabella spent time chatting with us and answering my questions about the portraits in the dining room. Would highly recommend

Not only is the location breathtaking, the food is sublime . A Michelin star cannot and should not be far away . The fusion of Scottish foraged local produce and exquisite seafood is a triumph to the chef’s creativity and skill. …

Staff and location 10/10. Taster menu was a huge disappointment to say the least. A tiny piece of sausage roll, the toughest piece of beef on bread and the most al dente bit of cabbage and the cost was astronomical. …
