We had a great overnight stay at the Millcroft on our NC500 trip. The room was nice and comfortable with great views. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was nice and clean. We had a dinner at their bar which was tasty and the atmosphere was nice as well. Their specials were Indian dishes and my prawn madras was super tasty! With our room we had breakfast included and it was delicious and a huge portion as well!!! They have specially toasted some gluten free bread for me to make sure it does not get cross contaminated from the toaster. All the staff were extremely attentive and friendly and made us feel very welcome.Overall we had a great experience and we recommend the Millcroft for a stay or even just a meal at their bar!

We visited for a drink and were warmly welcomed by Daniel. He made us feel at home. We were introduced to a very tasty Black Isle dark beer (similar to Guiness but tastier). A very good experiencethat was greatly enjoyed. Thank you Daniel and good luck for the future.

stopped at The Milcroft during our NC500 circuit.Great place to stay. Breakfast was included. I had the scrambled eggs with salmon and they were generous portions. The other half had traditional Scottish breakfast. Duncan and Danielle were so helpful and stopped to chat to us too. Parking was available too.

We can’t judge the overnight stay as we just popped in for drinks to warm up on this stormy night. Unfortunately the atmosphere was cold and uncomfortable. Also, we were shocked as we received two “hot chocolates” (for £3 each) which were lukewarm, made with water and the mugs weren’t even filled to the top. When we asked for a refund we only received a partial refund and an overpriced beer. The staff was not approachable and didn’t make us feel welcome at all. To us they seemed quite unprofessional to be honest.A lovely location with lots of potential but for us a big disappointment. Wouldn’t recommend giving this place a visit.
