I had an overall good stay, especially convenient for working away from home. The breakfast was excellent, offering a nice variety to start the day, and the burger I had for dinner was delicious. The room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable, making it easy to unwind. I appreciated the thoughtful touch of plenty of condiments provided in the room. One drawback was the electric shower in room 3, which fluctuated unpredictably from extremely hot to cold, making it uncomfortable. Despite this, I’d still recommend the hotel for the other positives and would likely stay here again if traveling for work.

Very friendly staff and great food both at dinner and breakfast. The chicken with pepper sauce was lovely. The bedroom was comfortable. Although the shower room was small, it did the job. Good views and good value.|It's a handy place to stop on the way to Orkney.

Looking for an evening meal, decided to try the Tuckers Inn as it always looked busy at meal times. The decor is a little tired & the lounge bar is rather short on personality & lacks any theme which is a shame as the location & view out over the firth from the dining area is great. The menu has a good variety of the usual bar meal dishes priced at today's levels, choice of starters & deserts. The food is excellent well presented & very tasty 😋

Hadn't reserved a table! Suggest this is a Must for this hotel! Staff happy to accommodate us for a quick supper as long as we vacated by 7pm. 1 course & out. Comfortable conservatory which overlooks the Cromarty Firth. Outdoor Picnic tables if you fancy dining Al Fresco! Very Reasonably priced.

Advertised as recently refurbished.... with the cracks in my walls in my room and round the windows I'd say it was a long time ago since any refurbishment was carried out. I booked a family room, my double bed was so wobbly and unsecure, the shower was tiny but the bathroom was huge. The food though was very nice (breakfast especially) and the staff very friendly and always had a smile and a cheery good morning. The view was beautiful though 😍
