Lovely place to escape the torrential rain stormy weather we had! Super friendly and helpful staff and very nice room facing the river. Food was excellent - lovely fish & chips - and probably the best sticky toffee pudding I have ever tasted! Breakfast was also very impressive with plenty of choices. Would definitely stay again.

The staff, some of whom have been with you for a number of years were friendly, efficient and always helpful. Dinner was particularly good with a menu appropriate to the wide range of patrons. Our room was spotlessly clean. …

After a cold wet brutal day on the WHW, I decided to not wild camp and get a room. A warm room with a hot shower and a soft comfy bed. The bar/restaurant was great. My meal of wild mushroom risotto and rump steak was fantastic. The pints helped my sore legs feel a bit normal.

Everything about this hotel is wonderful! Location, staff, atmosphere, food, rooms….nothing we didn’t like! It was a lovely oasis of comfort where we could rest and recharge mid way on the West Highland Way. And the setting is stunning. Sitting down by the river was blissful.

We had a fantastic stay at the Bridge of Orchy Hotel, which offered the best food we had on our trip, along with stunning views and top-notch service. We arrived early and relaxed in the dining room with warm drinks before check-in. The receptionist was very welcoming, providing us with fascinating local history and pointing out nearby landmarks. Our accommodations in the adjacent cottages were delightful. Though the room was a bit small, it was clean, had a drying room, a spotless bathroom, and beautiful sliding doors that filled the space with sunlight. The dining experience was exceptional, with friendly staff, creative and flavorful dishes, and artful presentation. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone walking the West Highland Way.

You’d think that, being the only hotel for miles, they might rest on their laurels. But they were wonderful to us and apparently to the great many hikers of the West Highlands Way who stop by. We recommend completely, for comfort, friendliness, helpfulness, food and drink.

Another very welcome hotel at the end of a day's walking on the West Highland Way. We arrived nearly an hour early and were welcomed in, our room being already, always the mark of a good hotel.A lovely restaurant with great views, a bar with two hand-pumps and breakfast the next morning was superb, service at both meals being excellent. One observation, I ordered rump steak done 'blue' for dinner and was gratified that I wasn't warned about the potential hazards of eating beef that wasn't cooked through. Trouble was it was so blue it was barely cooked, a garlic butter patty atop the steak didn't melt... I enjoyed it though!
