So Craignay bed and no breakfast. Arrived to a glacial welcome and pointed to our room. It was clean and tidy. At 1 am the smoke alarm started bleeping and bleeping. It carried on until 3 am when a klaxon sounded. …

The guest house is conveniently located near the city center and has a pleasant overall appearance. We stayed in a room for three people with an en-suite bathroom. …

Very cute place right in the center of Inverness. Room was clean and comfortable and the manager was great. We checked in late (around 9pm) with no issues. Would recommend!

The entire building smelled of stale cigarettes, even though “no smoking” signs are posted throughout. The room was fine. It was clean and relatively comfortable.

We arrived early to Inverness and went to check and see if we could leave our bags early before check-in. Took the lady working there 10minutes of waiting and ringing the bell before she came up. Seemed like she had just woken up. She kindly told us that our room had not yet been serviced, but she said we could leave our bags at the bottom of the stairs and take our room keys. We came back at 7pm and our bags were still at the bottom of the stairs. Went up to the room and it had not been serviced (pictures added). Old towels about, a pair of jeans in the garbage can (weird) and wet and dirty (someone's makeup) on the towels in the bathroom. Tried ringing her but no response. Ended up speaking with some of the others staying there and they corroborated our story that no servicing had been taking place, the lady seemed to be an alcoholic. One of the guests even went to her chambers and tried to rouse her but she stayed firmly in her bed. We managed to find a service closet and made our bed as well got 1 fresh towel. This lady needs serious medical help and rehabilitation. This place seemed so nice, we wonder if it changed hands or she is a temporary caretaker that was misjudged? Good location and nice building. Smelt vaguely of smoke but is a no smoking building. Also no breakfast in the lovely looking dining lounge however the wifi password is breakfast730. A wild experience to be sure. Anyways, 100% do not recommend until the caretaker gets serious help.

A last minute booking so we had low expectations but the room was pleasant, clean and comfortable. The location is excellent being just around the corner from the city - a 3min walk down the street will get you to the river.  …

My husband and I stayed here with my elderly parents, who were very pleased to be able to get a ground floor room. Both rooms were pleasant with comfortable beds.  …

Tiny Room, Entire building had a weird musky smell. No towels. Shared bathroom during a pandemic?! Had to wait at the door a good 20 minutes to be let in. No staff to help with the towel situation. Nobody on desk at checkout just left the keys and walked away from easily the worst hotel/guest house I’ve ever stayed in.There’s loads of amazing reviews of this place, which means either one of two things. Either this business has changed owners or this business owner has lots of friends/email accounts making fake reviews.Thankfully the company paid for this or I’d be straight at management getting a refund.

This place it terrible! I came here because of the good reviews here on trip advisor and they couldn’t have been more wrong. Worst B&B ever. Firstly, you are greatest by a terrible smoky smell from the owner who smokes. …

This B&B is a travesty. I cannot believe it is in operation. We had to wait over 20 minutes outside the hotel in the cold ringing the doorbell before the owner came to the door only to be told upon entering and paying that the room was not …
