We decided to book at the Hotel, to dine in with friends (but not to stay at the Hotel) at the restaurant. So glad we did, and we were not disappointed. …

Enjoyed a relaxing Afternoon Tea with friends. Nothing was too much trouble. Beautifully presented cakes and savoury snacks. The decor and setting was beautiful. It was peaceful with stunning photo opportunities.  …

This place was an absolute delight in every way, and I cannot recommend it enough. The location is close to Inverness, allowing for easy access to town, as well as close to Loch Ness for access to Urquhart Castle. The road to the property runs through a forested area and opens out onto a lovely beach on the firth. The lobby, bar, and drawing room were excellently decorated with an old-fashioned eye. The rooms were nicely updated, and so cozy! Breakfast was top notch, and the staff were all so kind. This was by far my favorite hotel that we visited on our Scotland holiday.

Spent a truly amazing four days at Bunchrew House. It was the highlight of a wonderful two-week trip to Scotland. The House is gorgeous, the staff was the most welcoming anywhere we've been, the food in the restaurant was exceptional, and the views looking over the Firth were spectacular. I was the perfect base for day-long trips into the Highlands and surrounding areas. We will certainly visit again on future trips to Scotland.

The Bunchrew House was one of the best properties we stayed at during this trip. A classic B&B, sort of an upscale Fawlty Towers with an exceptional staff.   …

Had 7 of us stay for one night on a 2-day tour of the highlands and would highly recommend this hotel if you want something different, off the beaten path, and steeped in history and beautiful views/grounds. The staff are wonderful and make you feel at home and the restaurant is excellent. Our compliments to the chef!

A heritage inn offering a very quaint setting by the Beauly Firth water's edge. If you're sharing a glass of champagne (like a couple from Wisconsin were the day we were there) then there is no better place to do it then on this estate's backyard overlooking the river. The history of Bunchrew is very interesting. I really liked the information made available by various paintings offering details of those involved with this estate's build and occupancy. As for the estate, clean and comfortable with a restaurant offering a good menu although the group I was with felt that the menu would be better with a greater range of selections. If there was one negative it would that our bed was not as comfortable as we would expect. The staff were all very friendly and attentive.

Overpriced for the Standard of AccommodationWe recently stayed in the ‘Coulmore’ room for two nights at a cost of £750, and unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to the price tag. The room had fantastic views, but there was a strong smell of paint, which became overwhelming after a while. This definitely took away from the comfort of our stay. The biggest issue was the shower, which had zero water pressure. My wife wasn’t even able to wash her hair. When we brought this up to the staff, they acknowledged that they were aware of the problem and gave us £70 credit towards the cost of our dinner one evening, but it didn’t make up for the inconvenience we experienced during our stay.On a positive note, the staff were wonderful and very attentive, and the food was incredible. However, despite these positives, the overall experience was not worth £375 per night. For that price, we expected much higher standards in terms of the room and amenities.
