We loved it at Jacobite House. 1st floor room 1 with en suite private bathroom. There is a shared living area and kitchenette but we didn’t use it. So many restaurants and bars within a stone throw, no need to stay in our room. Our suite was newly renovated with modern touches. Clean linens and towels were provided. Self check in instructions delivered via Orbitz message - it was clear and precise. Yes we would stay again.**We sleep with brown noise, sensitive sleepers should bring ear plugs or a noise maker /app. Rooms sit above a popular street 👍🏼

The stay here was overall nice and comfortable. We booked a Superior Double room (second floor) and it was quite big with big bed. It was as expected from the photos shown on the site. …

It's a door on Church Street with a keypad entry system. I was on the top floor (3 sets of stairs?) and was grateful that I was strong and healthy enough to carry my luggage up.  …

The hotel does not have an on-site reception - instead you are meant to be sent instructions in advance for how to get into the building and register for your room.  …

We self checked in and our room was still dirty from previous guests. We called many times and no answer. Hours later they messaged us saying they would clean it but we had booked another hotel. They have refused a refund for our night.Horrible service and the whole building is kinda gross even if it had been cleaned.Stay far away.

It is not what the photos show, it is small, clean and neat but... the rooms do not have a private bathroom, the bathroom is private because the access to your room is outside of it, in the hall and the same key is used of the room. It does not have air conditioning and the views without small windows to the sky, no view. Very noisy area. It is on the 3rd floor by stairs, to consider if you carry luggage. It's not bad but I wouldn't do it again. Having them send you information to enter costs... through WhatsApp you ask for the door code and then the code to get your key

The only issue is these rooms are currently up 3 flights of stairs. If that is not an issue then fantastic. It has a full shared kitchen that you can use and very central to the city. Room is nice and the people very welcoming.

Room was clean and well put together. Jacobite House is very well placed in the centre of Inverness and with great transport links. I was staying while up for a conference then a holiday and it was very easy to get about. The shower pressure was great, which is always a bonus, and the well-equipped kitchen, while I did not use it, is a handy addition. The noise from the street on our side was not an issue either despite being on a busy, social street. My only gripe was that the shelf in the bathroom above the sink was quite low so I could not comfortably brush my teeth or wash my face.Make sure you are informed in the check-in procedure when arriving, it is a keysafe situation which works well as long as you are aware.Quite reasonably priced also.

I recently stayed at The Jacobite House and had such a wonderful visit. My flight arrived in Inverness very late, and I caught a taxi to the accommodation. Self check-in was so simple thanks to the instructions provided by the owner. …
