A new standard in excellence! You ask for it and they will provide! Ordered the George burger for dinner..... with extra burger, extra bacon and 2 x eggs and what an absolute MONSTER it was! Cooked to perfection with crispy fries and slaw. The new chef is making his mark and it's well worth checking out.

Had dinner here and the food was great. The pub is also able to accommodate large groups of people as long as you book in advance. Drinks are a little more than some places in Chichester but not expensive.Accommodation is decent, had a friend stay here shower in their room didn't extend up yo their hight so something o be aware of

This was a mixed bag stay. On the plus side, the pub itself is really neat, good beer selection and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The location is ideal, right on the Main Street and within walking distance to anything you might want to do. Your overnight booking comes with a complimentary breakfast, which does include kitchen made items. When they have the food in stock, it’s really good.On the flip side, the room we stayed in (two twins) was immensely dirty. Mold in the shower, hair and dirt in the linens, the fabric head boards were dirty, cobwebs everywhere and just a general unclean feeling. When we brought the sheets and mold to the staff attention, they were minimally concerned. They offered to have the maid come by the next day to clean, but after she did there was very little noticeable difference. For lunch and dinner, the kitchen ran out of most food things by Friday.Overall, it’s a small pub with rooms out the back, probably better suited to sleeping off one too many beers than an extended stay.

I have just returned from staying at this B&B for the past couple of days. Location is great with a nice walk into the high street and was greeted with a great welcome from the staff member who showed us to our room. …

This is the worst room we've ever stayed in. We complained about the grim room we were put in at first and they moved us to another room which we were told had been renovated but the only 'renovation' was that one wall had been painted to …

Don't book if you want to sleep before 11pm. The rooms are overlooking the pub's outside area and the noise level was very high.  …

Dirty. Every surface was either dirty or dusty, could write your name in it. Will not stay again or recommend. Please train your cleaners to clean or get new ones!  …

I held a halloween makeup master class in the back room. A woman called Hannah was ready to help, nothing was too much effort. The ladies that came to the event all enjoyed the evening and commented on how realxing the venue was and great service.

Awful. Filthy room; never been cleaned behind the bed; basin tap loose, toilet roll holder loose, shower disgusting and barely warm, room fan filthy, sharp plastic debris on the carpet.  …

Stayed here one night. Room was clean but old fashioned and could do with updating. Bed comfortable but duvet meagre. Carpet frayed in places but room had been recently painted. Breakfast OK. Staff pleasant and efficient.|No car park but public car parks not too far. Luckily it didn’t rain!
