Had an excellent and very friendly welcome, nothing was too much trouble when we arrived and were greeted by a lovely lady. The hotel has a large carpark which made parking easy. Breakfast was hot and fresh, cooked perfectly well. Breakfast was served in a fantastic dining room with amazing views. The bed was quite comfortable, and again fabulous view to wake up to from our window overlooking the garden. The bathroom was of a good size, thus showered easily. We will be recommending a stay here.

The staff really made our stay for us. They were so friendly and welcoming. We were travelling by motorbike and it was a real bonus that the hotel has a covered, locked location where we were able to keep our bike overnight. Breakfast was excellent, we had a lovely dinner in the bar, and the view from our bedroom was superb. For the price we paid, we really can't fault the George Borrow Hotel. It's excellent value for money.

Family run, not too posh with a good position and excellent food. Perfect for our needs and staff could not be friendlier. They even let us park motorcycles in their barn! it was like going home every night after a day out. Nice family - very friendly place.

Needed somewhere to eat en-route and local petrol station suggested I might just get a meal ordered at the George Borrow, before their 8pm shut off.|Immediately a friendly, helpful welcome from the landlady. …
