13 of us (all women) had a great little break at the Risboro Hotel last weekend. The hotel is in an excellent location. Shops, beach, pier, arcades, open top bus tour, art gallery, restaurants and cafés are all within walking distance.Very laid back atmosphere at the hotel. We were well fed. Breakfast was a little bit early for me as last orders for cooked breakfast finished at 9am.Free entertainment was great. Crystal Bawls had us all in stitches and there was plenty of singing and dancing. We had a great time. Staff were helpful and friendly. It was great value weekend away.Thank you.

The Risboro hotel is a budget hotel in Llandudno only 5 minutes from the Llandudno seafront and is handily located for the town centre and attractions such as the Great Orme Tramway. …

My partner and I have just spent 7 nights at the Risboro hotel and it was the best time ever. Yes the weather was good, which always helps. The manager and staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel rooms are basic, but clean, the meals were good, the entertainment was good with bingo on a couple of nights . We made friends with other guests and had a great time I would recommend

Okay well yes very dated, and we were told we couldn't check in until 16.00, so we checked in at 16.00 no one at front desk, rang the bell several times, no one arrived until 15 minutes later. …

Risboro seems to have gotten a lot of stick online but, although the building needs TLC it's kind of reflected in the price, not an obisetc, dated decor but we got the feeling there's a landlord and these guys are doing what they can. Food and service tbf has been pretty good and they have live cabaret most nights which has been awesome, be open minded,

The only good thing about this place was the staff. Friendly and helpful.||We looked at 3 rooms and it just went from bad to horrific. Duvets are threadbare and ripped and too big for the covers on them.  …

The only saving grace for this hotel was the staff..staff were very nice polite and friendly and nothing was to much trouble for them..they were busy all the time..and the location to sea front and shopping area's. apart from that the hotel was like faulty towers absolutely dropping to bits..run down, lots of work needs to be done on the building inside and outside and rooms to make it anywhere descent..most rooms had something wrong with them..old,or dated, and dropping to bits..things had duck tape holding up or down..patches in ceilings and floors just randomly covered or botched up..anyone with disabilities or mobility issues could struggle to get in and out of seating in lounge areas..chairs and sofas are very low to the ground..

Well we didn't have high hopes of the place from the reviews but needed somewhere last minute- there is a reason this hotel is not booked up! …

Where do you begin. Hastily booked based on the Tripadvisor top review and the hotel pictures of a spa. When read all the reviews it became apparent all was not as it seemed. …

A last minute booking thought it was a bargain b&b for £79. Staff were friendly but we checked in late and when we tried the bed half of it was broken. Too late to change rooms so we sorted it as best we could. Worst thing was running out of loo roll in the middle of the night. It was in a dispenser so we couldn't tell how much was in it. On the good side the breakfast was lovely
