Before I give any negatives I will say the Bed was comfy and the room spotless. However there was Zero Hot Water even after numerous visits to the Bar I ended up having to walk across the Hallway to use a Power Shower even though I had requested a Bath due to suffering from MS. Then I find there is no Remote Control to the TV even after an extensive search and yet another visit to a probably pissed off Barman I finally just gave up and decided to call it a night. This was a very reasonable place to stay but feel like I should have booked elsewhere and paid more as I will be leaving feeling completely underwhelmed by this whole experience. Also sadly none of the Heating came on during the night so woke up Freezing and not overall refreshed

Good location to put yr head down for night before ferry next day. Very pleasant and helpful positive staff. Internally very worn and tired decor. Cheap Hotel feel and Decor dated. Would look for alternative option in future.. Staff willing and positive attitude hugely improved our experience.

Tried to eat here for lunch. Asked about soya in a couple of meals for an allergy for my daughter, first I was asked what that is, then I was told twice (after visiting the kitchen) that they don’t know what the ingredients of their food are because they’ve thrown the packaging away. We then decided to leave as just had no confidence the food would be safe to eat. When I left I advised that they are legally required to know what’s in their food! They then told me they do and were just checking. No idea why they didn’t advise me of this before but I was too nervous at that point to risk it. Paid for our mostly untouched drinks on the way out. One of the worse experiences I have had with allergies at a restaurant.

The Holland Arms in Gaerwen Anglesey is very friendly and welcomes dogs. We had drinks, which they offer a wide selection and then we decided to stay for food. The food is great and very large portion sizes. Would recommend and will sure visit again.
