Wow, stunning views. We only went for food one evening but this place was great. The layout was good. The staff were so helpful. We got served very fast. We have a few dietary requirements, and all was meet with out fuss. This place offers so much more than a 2*. The food was amazing. I'm sorry for the picture of an empty plat, the fish I had was too good to take time to photo it.

Stayed in this hotel for a Golf trip. Location was perfect with stunning views over the bay.Rooms were good and clean, with plenty of room. Shower wasn't the best due to water pressure issues but that wasn't ruining my weekend. Now what can I say about the breakfast. Coffee was smooth and was flowing. You wanted another cup? Well the host would bring it straight out no problem.Breakfast was a great size, and filling. Eggs were cooked to perfection and I must ask, where are them succulent sausages from? Exquisite.Cant fault the place, will be back!

Location was great as it was 2 minutes from bull bay where we played golf in the morning. This was ideal. The rooms were what you would expect from a 2 star hotel and the views were great. However, what I will mention was the breakfast, I ordered a small breakfast, and how they could put an egg a sausage and a piece of uncooked bacon in front of you and call it a breakfast and the quality was poor. I honestly don’t know what they were thinking. Anyway, it’s an okay place to go if you want to chill or play golf up the road.

Stopped here for Sunday Lunch after walking along the costal path. We both enjoyed the carvery, my husband had three meats and I had the nut roast. It was really delicious and extremely good value. They even provided biscuits for our little dog. The staff were really lovely and friendly. We'd definitely recommend and would come again.

We had a lovely three night stay in their Sea View Superior Executive King room which had amazing views of the sea and a lovely little sofa spot to look out and enjoy it. The bed was really comfortable with good bedding and linen. All staff were all super friendly and very good at their jobs. The place was immaculately clean and breakfast was good. There are some lovely walks along the cliffs close to the hotel and a really good golf course close by. The restaurant is great too. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would go back if I go to Anglesey again. Thank you to all the staff.

Here for the Sunday Carvery - choice of 4 meats or a nut roast. Everything still succulent even though it’s almost time on the lunchtime session. A couple of Robinsons ales on cask. Terrific views over Bull Bay to take in while dining. Large, free on site car park.

Never has the middle of nowhere been so good. The Trecastle is a gem of a hotel. The staff and facilities were impeccable and the location was truly inspiring. There isn't much around .. and that's the point. Just you, the rugged Anglesey cost and the warm hospitality. Perfect! The room was clean, comfortable and presented a picture-window onto the irish Sea.Food is more up-market 'pub grub' than restaurant and ales are rather limited by the ownership by a brewery company, which is a bit of a pity but not a huge deal.I liked the up-front ordering of breakfast, which offered each guest the choice of a large or small breakfast. I wish more hotels would do the same.If you are ever in the Amluch area, for whatever reason, then this has to be the place to base yourself. Well done ... and thank you!
