OK. Clear instructions to stay. Had to have money so almost got robbed at Tesco lol. I asked for top room. We laughed as I slowly died going up the stairs of the sky scrapper. Light didn't work, bed lamp did. Decent size. …

This hotel is in the perfect location. It’s right in the city centre, only a 5 minute walk from the train station. It is only a short walk from a selection of local pubs, clubs and restaurants. The beds were comfy and the rooms were spacious. We booked 3 rooms and all came with a kettle, iron and ironing board as advertised. There are no lifts so if you’re looking for a more accessible hotel this is not the hotel for you. The owners were lovely and helpful via email. Overall, a great stay when considering the low price.

One of the worst experiences I could've imagined. There is no front desk, so "check in" is through the gyro. As you can imagine, no front desk means no help or God forbid cleaning once per day. Or at all. There's also only one key per room, which can be a problem if, say, there's two people staying in the "two twin bed" room, and one wants to go back to the room for a nap and the other still wants to walk around. Note, you can't even enter the building without a room key, let alone knock on your room door. Speaking of doors - the door to the bathroom in our room didn't close, let alone knock. Clearly someone had broken the original lock what might've been decades ago, but then replaced it with a latch that also broke. The shower stall door was also problematic, and I had to fight it for a while every time I wanted to close or open it. The entire place was in disrepair, with the beds being particularly horrible - I'm not sure I can call what I slept on "a mattress" but the other bed was straight up broken, with a huge dip at the center. There was no fan anywhere despite the fact that global warming is happening, and there are no air vents at all to escape the terrible stink of the place without opening a window to every bug in Wales. And it's not like there was anything to do in the downtime, as the "tv" is a malfunctioning tiny computer screen that glitches. It's central, but you might as well stay at the backpackers next door for a better experience.

OMG how is this called a hotel? A doss house is a better description. Filthy. Yuk, We were on a low level as disabled….4 flightsof stairs. Cups filthy on tray Everything was sticky and filthy. 2 men tried to get into our room in afternoon, then in evening another 2 men were trying to unlock our door. They apologised said trying to find their room, fair enough as we had NO NUMBER on our room No 3 . Glad we took our own, light cord in bathroom filthy. As was shower tray, well everything in room. Someone had punched a hole inside our wardrobe.Didnt want to use shower, but decided to try, but not using filthy shower mat, well, pulled shower head out of holder to use and it fell off the wall. ONLY 2 good things city centre and kettle worked. Beds really uncomfortable. £132 a night what a complete waste of money. As there are more floors and more rooms at least 12 how are they allowed to trade as hotel when so dangerous and so dirtyDo not stay here. Photos to prove.Dangerous stair carpet, all ripped and filthy, catch your heel in it and you’d fall down the stairs. No banister on some of the stairs. Very dangerous.

This has to be the worst hotel iv ever stayed at the walls were dirty and not a very clean room either. The bed was nice and comfortable tho.Had problems with the TV remote but the man did sort this straight away so that side was good. The reception is in another building across the street and parking is done by a multi story car park which charges I think £19.99 a night.Luckily I put my car at my aunty's but if it wasn't for that I would have had a big expense at the end of my stay.Iv paid cheaper before and had much more cleanliness that what I had.Shower falling apart as well held on with black tape.

Great hotel in the centre of Cardiff. Clean room and comfortable beds. The only downside the ladies had was that there was no full length mirror in the room.  …
