Very pleased with the whole experience & what an amazing price. Beds were so comfortable. Rooms very clean. A lot better than we expected, this is a perfect budget stop off, short break hotel. This is not a luxury hotel if you are expecting soft fluffy towels, pristine modern decor, shag pile carpet or even a hot tub. This is a perfect family friendly, dog friendly establishment for a stop off on your journey, it is not the Ritz hotel.

Had a great stay here – perfect stopover very clean and very quiet. Just thought I needed to get some work done before going onto my meeting.||I’ll make it a regular stopover now. The staff from particularly friendly and bend over backwards to sort out any little niggles.

Stayed at Days Inn at Magor Road Chef located at the service station for two nights, booked a twin room on the ground floor facing front, we thought it might be very noisy due to traffic in and out but actually it was very very quiet and didn't hear any noise at all. The room was nice and clean, it had an electric wall heater you manually switched on If it got cold. Had tea and coffee making supplies, a TV. The bed was comfortable, I accompanied my daughter she was attending an Event in Abbeywood Bristol, it was a last minute booking and I couldn't get anything nearer as too expensive, but it was only about 25min drive from our hotel across the Prince of Wales Bridge. It was very busy, the amount of traffic but nice views looking over the Estuary. Unfortunately we didn't get time to visit around Magor as I later found out there's a lovely castle about 20mins away, maybe next time! Bristol has some good places of interest but again unfortunately didn't get time. Hopefully next visit 🙂

Location of the hotel is perfect. On arrival the staff - Rory and Edina - were so welcoming, acknowledged us with smiles and eye contact. The staff also continued to be pleasant and polite with every interaction. We had a few moments of unforeseen occurrences (left things at home) which the hotel staff went above and beyond to help sort for us.The room was very clean, bathroom was a good size and spotless. Shower was powerful and hot. Beds were super comfy and the room was warm. Good sized tv with plenty of channels. Coffee/tea facilities were full with plenty of options.Even when we got home, and realised we had left behind a vital thing. Rory didn’t hesitate when I phoned to go and check the room and then lost property to find our item and organise it back to us.Parking is available right outside the hotel, and the services adjacent to the hotel door has ample food options. Less than 20 steps away. Can not fault this hotel and staff.

We stayed here en-route to Swansea. Our room smelled of damp when we walked in and there was black mould in the bathroom- probably because the extractor fan over the bath was not working. …

Great for a motorway stop. Quiet rooms, basic but everything you need. We had a good nights sleep before heading on. You can purchase a voucher for breakfast at £7.50 which is worth £10 in the services.
