We stayed here for 2 nights from 31/19/24. Lovely clean room with everything you would expect plus bath robes. Coffee machine also! As vegans we were very happy to see a vegan meal on the evening meal menu and as we were staying 2 nights, the chef, Ryan, spoke with us to say he could provide something different for the second night. Fabulous! What a chef should do but in most places, don’t! Thank you Ryan! Vegan breakfast with a choice of 2 sizes, small or large. We had the large the first morning as we were walking during the day. Amazing breakfast too! Can’t fault the staff. All lovely and friendly and Liz, who served us breakfast each morning was just the best! We stayed in room 8 which is at the top and it was very quiet with the window looking out over the bridge. A very lovely stay in a beautiful area and we shall be back!

Whe had a dinner at the pub. Food was nice but service of the stuff was poor. Firstly we asked for separate bill. Which was advised at the food order. And we were advised ok and the waiter agreed to split the bill. …

We came back from a long walk and wasn't in mood to cook as we were there for holidays. So ended up here for a dinner. It's location is amazing just in front of river for giving you the best view of this beautiful village. …

Lovely place and very friendly staff. We stayed in a newly refurbished room which was very nice. Evening menu is limited but the food was delicious, breakfast on the first day was overdone.  …

We stopped here before our walk. Great little pub in a nice area. We got the crispy chicken chapati and cheesy garlic bread £20 for all which we can't complain about as it tasted really good. Strongly recommend if you meet this place on a walk or for somewhere to stop for dinner.

There was a wait for half an hour after ordering before we were told one of the starters we had ordered was not available. We re-chose and they came in an ok time. The starters and mains were all pretty basic, bought on pre-prepared food. Though not expensive, the food wasn't good enough for the price. The beer was good.

The restaurant was the only place that was always open and thus reliable. We went here twice for breakfast and once for lunch. Breakfast was very good. The lunch was good although the pizza seemed to be a frozen one simply pimped with some additional toppings - sufficient if you're just hungry. The staff was sometimes very nice and sometimes rather careless.
