This hotel/spa is a real gem. The ambience, staff, food, facilities were first rate. Brunch and breakfast cooked fresh by a Cef you can go and chat too. Spa massage was an hour by professional staff that left me feeling totally relaxed. …

Wow! To begin with we were confused, a housing estate has been built around the hotel, which is odd. As soon as we walked inside we were relaxed. We had a huge lovely room, new bathroom and all immaculately decorated and clean. …

We held a celebration of life afternoon tea event in the Lady Mary Cole suite for my late wife in September and it was wonderful - everything we had hoped for.  …

Had an amazing experience at the lanelay hotel. The spa is great and the rooms exceeded our expectations. Tom who works behind the bar was incredible and made sure we had the most amazing time. Thank you wil definitely be coming back in the near future!

The hotel room was spacious, clean and comfortable, but over priced at £329 per night bed and breakfast. Limited access to the spa was included 7am till 10am and 5pm onwards this should be full access, at to pay for spa package to get afternoon access which was overpriced. The spa was the most disappointing part of the stay. The outdoor hot pool was nice but the rest of the spa facilities were lacking from what we would expect from a spa. The package was not good value felt like it was over priced for the lack of facilities. The treatment was average again nothing to write home about. The brunch that was included was the breakfast menu with a bit of a salad station. Timings for the brunch weren’t the best 3:30 given we had dinner reservations at 8.We would return for the restaurant and hotel if hotel had package deals with the restaurant. but would give the spa a miss

I stayed in the Bruce suite which was really impressive. The room was really clean, had everything we needed and the staff left us a note and some cake waiting for us as they knew it was our anniversary which was a nice touch. The staff were all really nice and again we got a free glass of prosecco at dinner because we were there for a special occasion. The food was excellent in the restaurant, very nice if you are there for a special occasion. We used the spa which was pleasant, the water was warm and it was a nice atmosphere. The only thing I will say is the use of the heated outdoor pool is a bit pricey in my opinion at £25pp but it is a lovely pool, basically a really big outdoor hot tub and you get a free glass of prosecco or beer/cider to drink whilst you're in there.Like other people have mentioned it's in a strange location in a housing estate which I wasn't expecting but we didn't leave the hotel so it didn't make a difference to us.The breakfast was really good, a nice selection of continental with fruit, muffins, toast etc to have before ordering. We both ordered French toast which is probably the best French toast we have had!In short we had a really nice time and I would definitely recommend and go back.

Lovely hotel. Beautiful building. Nice Spa.Hotel was lovely but it was the staff who made our stay a great experience. The receptionist was lovely ( sorry didn’t catch her name) and made us feel at home straight away.We came in late, after a long day, arriving just past nine pm, the bar had just stopped serving food but Jacob who was on the bar contacted the kitchen and arranged some food for us, he was so kind and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Thank you so much Jacob, you have restored my faith in humanity!

Bar food service was very slow, only 6 people in the bar & only 2 eating. I was told it was an extra £10.00 for a chk out extension, but when enquired, It was £25.00.The room was warm & clean, but my ceiling looked cheap & nasty.Doubt, I'd stay there again considering the Lechwen Hall Hotel is only a few miles away for cheaper & lot nicer, albeit no pool.

Really not worth the hype. Spa was full of damp and mould. The changing rooms was very dirty and smelt very bad from the damp and mould. I’ve ended up with a bad chest from my stay. ||Wanted £50 for two just to swim in outside pool. …
