Sarah and Mark were the perfect hosts of the wonderful Fern House. We felt very much at ease, enjoying very tasteful breakfasts, a very tidy and cosy room in a historic building. Sarah was both very helpful and discrete. …

A family member has stayed at The Ferns twice so we were tempted to stay ourselves. From the clear and comprehensive booking information, through to our departure, the entire four-night experience was an absolute joy. …

Sarah and Mark were wonderful hosts, and we were so glad to have found them. The room was particularly clean and comfortable with a pleasant view, and the shower pressure was just right. Many options were available for breakfast - the salmon and eggs in particular were delicious, and there is provision of proper fresh brewed coffee. Should we return to the area, this is certainly where we will stay.

My brother and I had a fantastic stay at the Ferns. Everything was perfect, from the rooms, the location, the food and particulary the host, Sarah and Mark. It's situated just a short walk to the town centre which is very picturesque. Highly recommended.
