We had a wonderful one night stay here recently to do some hiking in the Carneddau. The hospitality was lovely - a really warm welcome - and the room was cosy, spacious, warm and comfortable. Had a wonderful sleep, although hiking 16km in the rain probably helped! A wonderful country hotel and we look forward to returning. Thanks!

What a lovely hotel. Jill is a fantastic hostess and very knowledgeable of the area and things to do, especially on a wet day. 10/10 for me. We had a relaxing few days in a wonderful suite complete with dressing room. We would definitely book again. Dave and Nicky x

Lovely little place in a perfect location. The host, Jill was amazing and couldn't do enough for me. Extremely accommodating with a very relaxed approach made it a very comfortable stay! There is water accessible the other side of the road to have a refreshing dip in, if that's your thing and also a nice pub 2 mins walk down the road if you fancied a change of scenery.I shall definitely be returning as soon as I get the chance to

The little cafe at the back was a pleasant surprise and nice and cosy and kids found it super cool. Nice little stop after a cold winter walk and food was nice and hot drinks tasted lovely. Very pleased and will use again when next out hiking solo or taking kids on a adventure will stop again

Had a great time staying with Jill at Cobdens. She is a fantastic host - interesting to talk to, great sense of humour and cooks a brilliant breakfast! Whilst there is renovation going on at the hotel (Jill is trying to restore it to its former glory) the rooms are warm, comfy, quiet and Jill's provides everything you could need! We will be back to see the result of the renovations and see Cobdens as it once was!

I had a wonderful stay at Cobdens. Jill was so kind and friendly, going above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable, from helping me prepare dinner when I couldn't get a reservation to driving me to the train station when the buses weren't running. The room was very spacious, clean, and well-stocked. The location was perfect for hiking Snowdon and the surrounding areas. I could not recommend it more strongly and look forward to coming back again soon!
