Positives: The staff were lovely and very welcoming. The room had complimentary tea and coffees and then in the mornings they had breakfast snacks in the foyer. …

When searching for hotels, this one was the cheapest option, so our expectations were low. However, we were pleasantly surprised, and our stay was quite nice. …

The owner and staff member were incredible. Expedia screwed up the reservation so we were left without a room after traveling from Iceland. This was NO fault of the hotel. The issue was absolutely Expedia's fault.  …

The hotel is a bit tired. Our bathroom had no door handle on the inside so everytime I needed to go for a number two, my partner had to slam the door from the outside.  …

We stayed here as a family from July 1st till July 3rd 2024. The day of check in, our card was suddenly empty. The hotel had reserved 3 deposits, the total amount was MORE than the cost of the room. …

This was clearly once a nicer hotel, but it's now rather shabby and needs some updates. I slept well enough and the room was spacious. …

The rooms are well decorated and the location was convenient, that is all the positives unfortunately. Firstly, the rooms need a deep clean and a refresh, i didn’t want to take my socks off and touch the floor. …

Eliza House surpassed expectations with impeccable service and luxurious accommodations. The staff's genuine hospitality made me feel warmly welcomed. The tastefully decorated room, complemented by modern amenities, provided a comfortable retreat. Its central location makes it highly recommended for a premium and sophisticated stay.

Conveniently located to shops and transport. Thats the end of the positives on this property. Your room is on the 1st floor or higher and the only way up is the stairs. The room looked ok but stunk of mould. …

Good location with a low price and friendly staff. But the interior is shabby with a bath that could use a good cleaning with bleach. Breakfast is coffee and packaged pastry and granola bars. As we found in most of Scotland and Ireland, there is no air conditioning and no top sheet and it was too warm for the comforter.
