Amazing hosts. Thanks for giving us praying mats as soon as noticing that we do prayers. Rooms are clean and well decorated. There is a small reading area with comfy armchairs downstairs. Location is also ideal.

Nice location, very close to the center. However, you need to walk uphill a lot to get to the center (but that's just like Edinburgh in a nutshell). The owners were super nice and helpful. The room itself was alright. It could use a bit more cleaning and an unpleasant smell came from the bathroom even though the owner tried to get rid of it. There were also some broken light bulbs

Meryam and Ajaz are great hosts. You can press bell 🛎️ and they will try to help. Historic buildings over 250 years old. Simple and clean room, also for single travellers with a shared bathroom and fridge and microwave available. Best of all tram and buses within 10 min walk. Tesco supermarket 5 min. Artisan coffee rosters with great self roasted beans and croissants 🥐 within 5 min walk. Educated Flea with delicious food. 25 min walk to Edinburgh Castle, 15 min to Carlton hill with beautiful view of the city, 30 min walk to water of Leith walkway. Most importantly top location and quiet and safe. Highly recommended for short term travellers.

Stayed 3 nights, the owners were super welcoming and accomodating. Gave us tips and pamphlets for Edinburgh when we arrived. Contacting them during the stay was also very easy and help was given immediately. …
