Kevin was an amazing host! I was traveling through Scotland in early October with a friend as we stayed at Hotel Ceilidh-Donia to start our trip. I would ABSOLUTELY stay here again! Our twin room was great. Breakfast was made to order as well as a breakfast bar. The food was wonderful! The hotel was also perfectly located 2 blocks from a bus stop that took you right to and from the city center. 100/10 would recommend!

Second time we have been here within the year. Absolutely amazing service. Kevin, Susan, and the team are wonderful! We couldn't fault any of our stay. The rooms are lovely, the beds are comfy and the food was gorgeous. 10 out of 10 will recommend to anyone going to Edinburgh.

This is a small boutique hotel not far outside the busy center of Edinburgh. The owner, Kevin and his wife are a great example of how to be the perfect hosts.  …

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Ceilidh-Donia. It's an easy walk to the bus stop, and fairly quick trip to the city centre. Our room was quiet, comfortable and clean. We loved starting off the day with a tasty made-to-order breakfast in the dining room. Kevin and Susan are wonderful hosts. Highly recommended!

Beautiful building with nice rooms and staff. Owners on site and very helpful with meal suggestions, taxi reservations and so forth. Breakfast was great and accommodated our strange diets. Rooms were quiet and restful. I highly recommend this hotel.

We had a lovely stay at this charming hotel. The accommodations were typical of European hotels, small but more than adequate. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood about a 30-minute walk from the Edinburgh Castle. …

A quiet and chic hotel, located in a clean, old and quiet neighborhood. The neighborhood in which the hotel is located is very quiet and romantic, with period buildings and quiet people, there is also a golf club nearby, as well as a complex with a swimming pool.It is very close to all the tourist attractions in Edinburgh, where you can reach by bus in only 15-20 minutes. Clean rooms, and the hosts Susan and Kevin are very welcoming and ready to offer you help and travel tips. The breakfast was varied, you can choose with everything you want to eat. Thanks for the hospitality!

Had 3 nights. Excellent small hotel. We had single rooms which were spacious and light. Excellent choice of breakfast, small cosy bar. Very professional and welcoming staff. On regular bus route. No lifts, but they will take your luggage.
