Great modern apartment in old town Edinburgh. Central to everything you want. A little bit hard to find but very private in a busy area. Amazing view of Arthur's Seat from our top floor room. Made all the stairs worth it!

Stayed here with my 16 year old daughter for 1 night during Edinburgh fringe. Quite a central location. Bed room, lounge/kitchen/dining room with sofa bed, bathroom. Had everything we needed and grocery stores very close by. 10/15 walk from the station.

What an amazing location! Just steps from the Royal Mile and other key spots in Edinburgh. Because the location is so great, it can be loud outside at night - we moved the fan into the bedroom by the window and that managed the noise really well for us, but they were kind enough to provide ear plugs as well. We really appreciated having the kitchen area to be able to prepare breakfast and store food/drink in the fridge. The check-in process was incredibly smooth - instructions were clear and timely and I appreciated how everything was sent both via email and text. The only issue we had was with the cleanliness. Everything seemed to have a layer of dust on it including oven vent, bathroom vent, shower head and more which was odd. Kitchen table area was greasy. All the bedding/towels/etc were very clean, it just seemed like surfaces/walls could use a little extra care. Nonetheless we would definitely stay here again when we come back to Edinburgh!

Great location in the city centre, pretty much 10 minutes from everything. We had a suite on the top floor and it was amazing. Plenty of room for 4 adults, small kitchen area, gorgeous bathroom and not too noisy. Ear plugs were provided 😃

According to Mono Suites management, They e-mailed access codes to us hours before our arrival in Edinburgh. We did not receive these codes and stood in their first floor hallway (we were able to get into the building because a family who was exiting held the door open for us and our suit cases), for twenty minutes trying to make contact with a representative via a wall mounted, Mono Suites phone. We eventually left their hotel, and luckily found a hotel lobby a few doors down the street, where we continued to try and contact Mono Suites management; to no avail. Thankfully, the hotel who allowed us to sit and regroup in their lobby, provided us with exceptional service and accomodations for the night. Eventually, (at ten o'clock in the evening) Mono Suites management texted my phone and provided the access codes to their hotel. Needless to say, we are not pleased with The Mono Suite Old Town hotel, or their ineffective business model.

Loved the location of hotel. Hadn't done non-staff check in before. Received text morning of my check-in date with details on accessing building and room. All went smooth on that front. Was concerned that there text indicated staff only available from 0900-1600.I booked a one bedroom suite as there were 3 of us. Room was big with nice layout. Plenty of towels provided along with nice amenities.Cleaniness of room was lacking. Shower had mold on bottom of wall. Electric kettle had mold inside also.Hot water ran out after 2 showers; and neither shower was all that long.As previous rater mentioned, it is loud. Doors closing were heard very clearly in room along with conversations in hallway. Also could hear people in next room. Ear plugs were provided which was big indicator that night would be noisy. Also note that there is no elevator so hauling luggage up narrow staircase can be challenging.

The room is nice, they responded online pretty quickly to our requests. Only issue I have with this spot is the bus stop right out front is pretty loud at night. Listened to a 30 minute fight at 4am on a Thursday

We had a lovely stay at Monosuites in Edinburgh. Ahead of our check in, Valentina contacted us to let us know our heating would not be working and kindly offered us some alternatives to rectify this issue in good time before our arrival. …

Location is amazing. Right in the middle of the old town so close to the royal mile. Beds were super comfy and the apartment was spotless. Very comfortable stay and so close to everything. Vale was very helpful to answer all questions. We booked last minute as another apartment had to cancel.
